Love this video Ashley! Ebay can be intimidating at first. It's a beast of a platform. Sell similar is your best friend when first starting out as it copies all of the item specifics for you and makes listing so much faster.

Awesome! I’m glad you are selling on EBay as well. Here is my experience on EBay since last February. Sold about 55 items. Consistency is the key for EBay: List Every day Study the sold Listings As much as you can Ship fast Don’t ship outside of the Platform. ALWAYS ship with EBay Be Patience. It takes time specifically if you niche down into one category. I personally don’t do free shipping on Ebay watchers will send you offers and sometimes you will have a hard time accepting offer bc you are doing free shipping. Try to sell everything and but I love selling toys.
That’s a great question that I’m not totally sure of yet! I shoot my hanging photos on a white background and have been using the same photos for Poshmark as I do for eBay. I may try experimenting with a more stark white background in editing? Some of the items I’ve sold have used my faux marble flatlay background too. That’s probably not helpful, but just my experience so far!!

If I offer discounted Shipping, Do I have to pay it fully at Canada Post, or is it already covered under the earnings. For example, I offer free shipping to sellers, do I pay it at the post office, or has it already been paid through earnings? 2. Can I just reuse shipping boxes such as Amazon or Ups to ship my stuff or does it have to be Canada Post boxes. 3. When I make my first sale, am I paid through credit or debit card?

When you sell anything on Poshmark, buyers pay for shipping and Poshmark sends you the label. If you discount the shipping in any way, that comes out of your earnings for the item. Nothing to pay at Canada Post, you just drop off your item! 2. You can use any boxes / polymailers to ship.
I’m definitely still learning, but the nice thing about including the measurements is that it will calculate a shipping rate for the buyer instead of you estimating. In Canada, it can be very different to ship something to one province or another (or to the US) I’m not as familiar with US shipping, so not sure how much of an impact it would make!
I was literally going to request this video from you. I've been trying to sell on Ebay for the past two months and have not sold a single thing. Its baffling to me that I can be doing fairly well on Posh and then on Ebay its crickets....
