Ctrl Alt Ego has a crazy premise. I don't even fully understand it. Without too many spoilers, you are a disembodied "ego" trying to save the last remainder of human consciousness. [I think?] It's not a well known game, but its beloved by me and the some others lol
My favorite weird thing about Saints Row 4, Keith David starts out as your vice president and joins your crew. Not a character Played by Keith David. Straight Up Keith David.
While I ultimately felt like Saint's Row 4 was stretched a bit too thin with all of its new gameplay elements and the Zinyak were rather bland villains aside from their leader, I have to admit that no other game's opening stretch has left me cackling anywhere near as hard due to how utterly batplops insane it was; Bayonetta 2 is the only other title that even came close to that point.
I unabashedly love Bugsnax, Danganronpa and Katamari. I also loved Kingdom Hearts before things got way too convoluted after KH2. Does that make me weird?
"Modern Day" is the reason I will NEVER be able to get into AC. I want to play a cool historical assassin. It completely drags the momentum to a halt and makes it very difficult to care about characters.
good lord...i love you guys and the content you do but PLEASE proof-read the script before sticking to them. i understand that Japanese names are hard to say but please just look up how to say them. i love the Danganronpa series and hearing Makoto's surname pronounced as "no-eggi" when it should be "NA-eggi" actually hurt me when there isn't even an O in that name. 😅😅
Days off are all about binging these videos
Y'all's background music is so on point...

It was overwhelming at first but really worth a try

Yes! me too
I miss katamari. It needs a new entry asap
People say every new game is just more of the same, but that's exactly what is needed.
go play the remakes
Metal Wolf Chaos
Hellsinker
Sacrifice
Might and Magic series
Drakengard series
Oh god i get a migraine just thinking about the plot of Drakenguard
I knew it was an Ashton video before I clicked, felt it from the title haha

Katamari series don't have a weird premise, those games are weird incarnate.
It is neat to hear what is going on in these games. It's not that i haven't played most of these games, but I almost always skip cutscenes.
Great video. ❤

Was thinking of Catherine for a weirdest game/tat appeal. But if you’re already that far ahead of me it’ll save me the P&P thanks
In the remake to Catherine there's a third Kathryn
Over half of the list was developed by an assortment of Japanese studios. Color me shocked.
hatred is a SUPER Weird one
Wait, someone knows what's going on in Kingdom Hearts? 😮
