He was actually being polite the interview was over and the interviewer kept saying 'one more' and he still answered! He was mad at his team for telling him to finish the interview when that's their job and he doesn't want to come across as rude as the interviewer keeps asking questions
His manager was saying "you need to leave now. lets go. get up." and Cristiano said "I'm not gonna be rude and just leave. If you want to leave, YOU have to end the interview."

Ronaldo was actually trying to not be rude to the interviewer. He was told to get up and leave by his security team but Ronaldo said no I'm not going to be rude and get up and walk away. Respect for Ronaldo. Arguably the best player ever and still does not want to be disrespectful to anyone. Legend.
Ronaldo was being forced to a situation he didnt want to be in, he didnt want to disrespect the interviewer by not answering his questions as the other people where telling him to stop the interview

I guarantee you Ronaldo, Messi and Ibrahimovic are completely different around people they're hanging out with, than when they're being interviewed by an annoying persistent reported looking to get a good story.

If u never met him or talked to Cristiano personally don't judge him . he gets piss off in the pitch when he misses its the same at our dailly jobs ! Simple as that !

The same day he did this interview, he had to do another one where the other reporter asked him about the FIFA corruption and the World Cup in Qatar which really annoyed him and he didn't care about at all. The worst part is that the interviewer indicated he was lying which is not how you are supposed to do your job. I wouldn't give a fuck about FIFA either.

It seems the interviewers wanted to hear Cristiano make an arrogant or rude remark. Today it seems Cristiano was going to be himself and avoid fake controversy that the media is looking for.

Why do interviewers always use press junkets to ask questions about things that are in no way related to what the interviewee is there to promote? They might be good questions and it might be nice to get some interesting answers, but the interviewee is there to promote something, not talk about other football players or their troubled past (while promoting Avengers, someone once asked Robert Downey Jr about how he overcame his drug problem) or whatever it may be. There will be another time to ask those questions.
