No one knows who composed it but some believe it is sprung out of a Irish folk tune. I my self have no, including this one heard about 105 different recordings, and when i hear this I immediately came to think of Geordie th-cam.com/video/NlbQaUAdfeU/w-d-xo.html a female version of it. This is a good song which I have played on guitar my self, and enjoy very much. I like this one too. She throws another very good version in the mix. I was a little pussled because she ends the song very similar to how i used to end it.
