Minnesota has looked horrible in preseason..they played like a team from 2009..too bad its 2019...like they need a new coach badly on both ends they play slow bad basketball..its just selfish slow no energy no ball movement stagnant iso ball except they don't have iso players....they are a team if they play the right way could be okay with wiggins culver towns covington and teague..thats not a bad starting 5....thats a very talented 5 some...

boston fans love to talk about their rookies 2nd year 3rd year g league international and 3rd string guys potential but in the end without rozier morris kyrie horford and baynes what the hell are we talking about here?..they lost 5 of their 8 best players and replaced maybe 4 of them but they have not found a replacement for horford/baynes/morris on defense or morris scoring so the reality is they will be worse...under..47 win team at max

@Mark Tubera That's actually a wrong narrative. He didn't play ANY defense 2 years ago. Last 2 years he is working hard on defense, at least trying and he can stop his opponents from time to time, so he's basically an average defender right now. That "he doesn't play any Defense" is from 2017

This was a great run down. Not saying they are right but well thoughtout none the less.
the pacers are so overrated..they are a 7th or 8th seed...at best...their record was .500 without oladipo and they were deeper and had chemistry veteran leadership and team confidence/cohesion from the year before taking lebron to game 7 together, now only sabonis and turner remain from that team besides the injured oladipo whose out for months obviously...technically t.j. leaf was on that roster but he played 4 total minutes of garbage time in that whole 7 game series in a blowout game and he was the 12th man..he doesn't count....... i agree with bill...its like people dont check the benches.....do people realize tyreke evans bojan bogdanovic darren collison wes mathews cory joseph and thadeus young all started games for them and they are all gone?...and all they added in the offseason off the bench was a holiday brother who shot 38% from the field for a 28 win team as a backup and t.j. mcconell lol to go with the awkward sabonis turner fit next to each other at least vs a lot of smaller teams for heavy minutes and the oladipo being out thing until janaury and when he comes back not being even 90% for a few weeks and then not being comfortable with his new teammates as we saw last season he was not the same player post injury compared to 2018...its just a mess even with the additions of brogdon and lamb and warren.....if any of their starters aka brogdon lamb sabonis turner or warren are out their team is going to lose the game period..they have no bench....they can't survive foul trouble..its a mess...they have to play for months 5 guys heavy minutes 4 of whom aren't used to it and 3 who don't defend and 1 who sorta defends...like its just a team without shot creators or playmakers...period...
Wiggins is the most athletic boring player in the NBA... no alleys, put back dunks, hustle plays, rebounds, assists, explosive moves..... it’s all slow paced, disinterested methodical movements

The Bucks have a lot of guys though who you trust to be in a playoff rotation and hit a 3, plus 3 recent 1st round picks they've been developing in Divincenzo, Dj Wilson and Sterling Brown who have played pretty well in preseason.
the top 5 of Philly is impressive, but if you go top 8 Milwaukee has more dudes you've heard of.

Embiid shot selection is the weakest part of his game other than conditioning...and I think he's a great player but his flaws are obvious

Raptors, celtics and heat are surprsingly good. Sixers and bucks are disappointing and a bit off so far. My PO prediction as follows:
1. Celtics
2. Rapters
3. Sixers
4. Bucks
5. Heat
6. Pacers
7. Nets
8. Hawks
Bucks will struggle or lose in po if they meet well-coached teams like celtics or heat. Sixers will not reach nba final with current roaster. Would not be surprised if celtics or raptors come out of east.

What you guys are missing about the Bucks is, that your comparing it to the team that ended last season, rather then started last season. They didn't even have a backup center most of the year.

I like Bill, but him saying that Al Horford (a guy he literally almost voted all-nba 2 years ago despite averaging less than 15 points a game) leaving is not a big deal, is absurd.
He said he was inconsistent last year which he was.
If you want to say his long term salary isn’t worth it, I can understand.
However, I bet the Celtics would love to have his inconsistency instead of Kanter and whoever the fuck else they throw out at center this year.

This M.Bucks team reminds me of LeBron's Cavs pre-2010. A lot of heavyweighting for Giannis same as Bron. Winning the league in regular season, going for 60 wins, then in the playoffs when Giannis needs help... They go down year in and year out. Their roster need 1 solid player to make it to the finals. A top 25 player. Giannis & Middleton vs Philly's starting 5 would not work

its not the worst roster they have ever had....starters pg dennis smith jr. sg rj barret sf kevin knox pf julius randle c mitchell robinson and then off the bench backup at center is bobby portis backup pf is marcus morris backup sf is damyean dotson ..backup sg is alonzo trier and backup pg is elfrid payton with some frank nitlkina and taj gibson getting some 3rd string minutes here and there mostly due to foul trouble injuries and just to give guys some rest and having kadeem allen ready to play when need be and the veteran wayne ellington in case of injuries on the bench as well but mostly in a suit.....keep reggie bullock off the floor though at all costs as that 15th man..hes trash and they should be good but too much kadeem reggie wayne taj or frank means this team threw in the towel lol...those 5 dudes are either not nba level anymore or never were real talk..the knicks have 10 guys that should get all the minutes most nights and help them win over 28 games if not they will lose a lot more...heck I don't even trust dotson but what can you do?...

This podcast didnt age well because of how much you guys underrate defense. All the east playoff teams are incredible defensively. The east doesnt have superstars like the west but their teams might be better because of thier ability to play both sides of the court

I don't agree with over for the Raptors, i think they'll struggle a lot, come late December / early January they'll be in 6th, 7th spot, nowhere near contending for the East and they'd go for trading Lowry and other assets and build for future road. I think in the end they'll end up winning 38 to 40 games
