I started playing net this year in October at the fine age of 36. Started in Adult beginner hockey. I had the minor advantage of playing JR.A defence in my younger days so i have the balance and edge control. I came across this video in early november and really took in what he was teaching. I practice this hand control shoulder control etc and not leaning or pulling away. Also using a 25" sherwood stick now instead of 26" bauer. Since november I posted 4 shut outs in 5 weeks in beginner, was moved to advanced beginner, was moved to silver mens league (house league and AA type guys) and now I am finishing up and going into summer league in Silver Select. This Video helped me ALOT and I cant wait to get into some actual goalie schools to learn more. Its the most fun position in all of sports! I always come back to watch this video to make sure I am still keeping the good habits!

What kinda knee pads do you use as a coach for these tutorials?

Sean Murray are goalie skates kinda easier to skate on?
Or even balance
J-rod H easier for goal as longer and wider so you have better balance
