There are many times that the borders are complicated but the important thing is that at that moment you managed to cross into Peru, Puno is a very touristy city and Titicaca Lake has an impressive view, it's a very beautiful and immense lake, it's the second largest lake in Latin America behind Maracaibo Lake here in Venezuela, the wallpaper you have on your cell phone of the Salto del Angel waterfall is very nice 👍

I always carry that memory of the Salto Angel with me 🥹
Yes, Puno is quite touristic but for a very good reason. I found it very impressive to be there at the lake Titicaca and to learn about the culture. I’ll show more of Puno in tomorrows video ☺️

@@aventuralinaPuno is a Bolivianized town, the dances they use are Bolivian 🇧🇴, and it makes us Bolivians feel proud that they are appreciated in neighboring countries, but unfortunately some bad Peruvians (due to the centralist abandonment of Lima) try to appropriate these expressions of Bolivian culture for economic reasons and lying to tourists about their origin.
The caporal, diablada and morenada are definitely from Bolivia 🇧🇴 and we only demand respect with it.
      Fraternal greetings.

Hi! We are planning a trip to South America as well and your vid on the La Paz - Puno crossing is very helpful.
Could I check if you booked the Trans Salvador bus ahead online or right at the Terminal de Buses La Paz?
Also which what was your experience with mobile internet coverage in Bolivia? I hear it is spotty with certain telcos. Thank you.

Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback! I am very happy to hear that you found this video helpful ☺️
I booked the bus at the terminal in La Paz one day ahead. You can book it online but it will be a bit more expensive and it’s just more convenient to book the buses at the bus terminals.
I didn’t get internet in Bolivia as I only spend 10 days there. But I’ve heard it’s not the best. In the hotels I was always fine with the wifi though ☺️

Great video! I’ve read online some people say to bring a scanned copy of your passport, passport photo and printed details of your hotel and itinerary..did you experience this?

    • @aventuralina
      @aventuralina  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

I would always recommend to bring a copy of your passport with you but more for your personal security reasons. It could be helpful if you loose your passport somehow. Although I hope this will never happen to you 🤞🏼
Visited the copy of my passport I didn’t bring anything else and no one ever asked me about anything. I would assume that if they’d ask for it, a screenshot on your phone would also be more than enough. But as I said, nobody asked me anything. It was super easy to cross 😁

Hows the bus rides in both country? I have read that most buses in south america are crazy drivers, and that makes me worry because I am going also sooner to both countries. :)

I honestly never had bad experiences. People in Latinamerica in general drive a bit more crazy than in Europe for example but I have never been on a scary ride ☺️

    Lake Titicaca, Lake Titicaca
    It's between Bolivia and Peru
    Lake Titicaca, yes, Lake Titicaca
    With waters tranquil and blue
Oh, Lake Titicaca, yes, Lake Titicaca
Why do we sing of its fame?
    Lake Titicaca, yes, Lake Titicaca
'Cause we really like saying its name!
    Titicaca!
