    Cesaro was mismanaged from the time he entered the company.
    For some of these guys, I do think it's a case of right wrestler/wrong timing.
    If Cesaro could get into a time machine and be dropped in around 1992 just before WWF started to struggle and slowly lose key stars, with the writers still there, I think he would have made a big impact and had just the right guys around him left there to have the matches he needed.
    WWE's writers have been poor since around 2002 onwards for me and it's not just the writing either that deteriorated.
    Too many chefs, too many PPVs, too many in ring promos, too many over the top gang bangs, they've just forgotten that less is more with this stuff.
    Even something as simple as the rings sounding less impactful, everything has gone backwards, this wasn't just a Cesaro problem.

Like I'd imagine the way WWE used him and the reality that he was probably never going to elevated higher than where he was (despite knowing and being told that he's more valuable than that as a talent) had a hell of a lot to do with why he left but there's no way to say that without sounding negative so he just doesn't say it.

      Why can't we just acknowledge the fact that he's currently a World Champion only?
      I mean, rather than making statements about what he deserved and all, we can cherish the fact that he's the current World Champion of ROH and try to embrace his run as the champ. He has lifted the prestige of the ROH World Title a lot IMO. Goes parallel with AEW showcasing the ROH belts on its shows too. His matches are also well worked defining the workhorse of a title that the ROH World Championship is.

    The wwe is disgusting they choose their top man ( cough cough Roman) and they neglect the others. No opportunity’s in wwe. Cesaro made a good choice

    • @Troy2Slick
      @Troy2Slick 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look at the opportunity he’s getting now, wrestling on the taped show that doesn’t even get as many viewers as NXT, defending a title for a company that no longer exists. He disappears off TV for three or four weeks at a time, is not involved in any storylines, his career is pretty much 10 times worse than it ever was in the WWE.

      Some wrestlers aren't meant for top. If guys like Bryan, Roman, Seth, Bray all can have good to great reigns but guys like Cesaro, Dolph and Kofi cannot. What do you prefer to call it, the former guys being great or the latter guys being misused?

    Let's keep it real... Claudio is gonna get underutilized at AEW, he already is by being the ROH World Champion. That's no offense to the ROH Championship but he could've been put in the AEW World Championship picture soon as he got there after being a fill-in for Bryan Danielson at The Forbidden Door instead of being a third wheel in the Blackpool Combat Club.
    And I get it, Vince didn't see his FULL potential especially at the end of his career but Swiss should've stuck it out. I'm quite sure HHH would've gave him a title run or a shot at being Mr. MITB or something. I really think a lot of the NXT non-call-ups and main roster shouldn't-be-curtain-jerkers should've waited like Gargano because they would've had a better opportunity. Now we got Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland as AEW Tag Team Champion... FOR WHAT?! To compensate for what Vince couldn't do with Isiah Swerve & "Bearcat" Keith Lee? I truly appreciate and understand that you do have to bet on yourself but how about a li'l more patience? AEW is gonna suffer (if they haven't already) tryna cater to the league switchers instead of honing their home talent
