      Also, after eliminating the error, rope rotation voltage increased from 11.5V to 21.5V at ~ 1000 RPM

      LOL I had to watch the video many times as when you did the testing for continuity it was every other wire for the black and the red, but when you soldered the green wire you put it to the fourth wire which when you tested it was connected to the second wire which was soldered with red, then you soldered the red wire to the fifth that was connected to the sixth wire and put green. When you got to the point of connecting them in series, you put the red wire on the fifth to the sixth after saying according to ohms law, then the red wire to the black wire said the same thing and moved the inner red wire to the outer black wire. I was like that wont work because you totally disconnected one of the phases by putting the fifth and six wire together so you were only running two phases. then I was starting to get frustrated as you never had it hooked up correct and I finally said he had to change the wiring around to the correct connections and wouldn't you know it just before you hand cranked it I paused the video and looked at the wiring and sure enough you had corrected your mistake, why didn't you just video yourself correcting the mistake? I almost never read comments but when I see something like this I comment on it and another surprise you left the comment accept you said John Flower pointed it out, but you had already fixed the issue. Does John Flower work with you?

      I do not get it. How can you connect 3 coils (120°) in series. Are not they cancelling each other before they get to bridge rectify?

      i would love to learn how to convert a car alternator 12 or 24 volts car alternator into a 240v ac 60hz current Supply with out using a inverter, Can it be done. ? how is it done. .

    Does it matter if you have a delta alternator? Will it work the same as a star alternator?

    There is a simple way of testing the polarity of the windings, connect a diode in series with with each winding and yes polarity while the motor is cranked.
    Make note of each set and then connect in series.

    How do you know which legs of each winding you connected was actually a series connection without regard to polarity of the windings (in other words, direction of turns within each winding)?

    Well what wuld hapen if you put the rotor winding with the armature winding in series? What wuld tgat thing do? Wuld that thing actualy behave like dc motor if the rotor has dual windings?

    what can you tell use about crystal ignition system Im curiuse to know if old school ignition oil cooled culd by used as independent souce of energy cinde of similar to piezo igniter ore piezo generator thats all theory but Im confused mostly I belive it culd by done even tought no where I can finde info on internet about it . It was used for a short time for singel cilinder engines called piezo ignition system.
    Im not shure if pick up coil culd activate a modified ignition coil filed with piezo cristals ore not ? Im not even shure what a wire wond in to a coil how it wuld act close to piezo cristals and magnets this is all theoretical I supose

    I'd have used a drill with a socket adapter to drive the hold down nut for the pulley. It would give more consistent readouts and touch would potentially show a peak voltage

    Hey man, I have a question and I would really appreciate your help (or anyones here). So I have alternator 12V, 60A. How many rpm do I need to spin it with in order to work properly? I`ve heard that if you don`t give it enough rotates it will overheat. Because it has a wind propellor that cools it down while spinning.

    Ok what if you use hv diodes instead of useing ordinary diode? What theoreticaly wuld hapen? What if theoreticaly we have a singel pole alternator acting like a pulse generator wuld that not solve the isues with diode lose's and rectification lose's? What if we actualy use that energy and actualy use it to run seperate device's wuld that make that thing work even with out voltage and amp regulator? In my opinion those diodes and other staff is there for to prevent out side frequencys to interact with the alternator to my they look like safty polarity devices rather then by usefull at all. Because when I use amplifier and plazma ignition that alternator thingy fluctuate to by a generator/starter motor/magnetic brake, transformer, magneto and lot more things my start rpm charge gets around 2500rpm.
    So in reality it seams they dont need those things to my that back emf culd by removed compleately by simply pulsing that thing like in mashine gun stille just like a pulse motor ore generator.
    Ither way if external sorce is aplied to ground ore the positive it still will work but polarity will damage polarity sensitive devices and gages will fluctuate back and fourth.
    In my opinion that thing use bouth positive and negative grounding.
    Exactly the same thing like waste spark managment ore also called dual ignition.
    That deam thing is dangerouse to cars 👆 Im not realy shure why some one wuld use a alternator instead of a generator?
    That thing vaporise fuel faster if it is atached to ground and if some thing goes wrong it makes fuel economy teribel even causing it to make car run teribel ore back fire.
    Ac goes tought even insulators so that thing culd infact electrocute you tought insulators.
    Thats why buzzing, radio interfearence, coolant electrolisys acures on top of that if peopel consider ethanol high oxydiser based fuels head gaskets blow up realy fast including all others ruber's and seal's.
    In some case's distributor cap's are made of conductiv plastic's that parasitic spark culd do real damage to engine's. This is a good video to mode your alternator to charge at low speed and I recoment to use ampliers for ignition coil and bypass ignition coil wires just on engine start up expecialy for older cars they dont like non leaded fuel.
    You actualy can force a gasoline engine to run at low speeds like 300-500rpm with a strong amplifier ignition and hevier flywhell that alternator mode can come in handy thats nice for fuel economy 👆 with a modified transmision some vaporisators ore lpg you get realy nice economy out of your car great video 👆

    The life expectancy of the brushes will not increase significantly after this modification, because their wear is not a matter of the rotation speed of the rotor, but of the current flow through the exitation coil of the rotor. Slip rings have not the same behaviour as toothed collectors used in older d.c generators or universal motors where the armature speed causes relevant friction problems. No matter this modification, the current flow of the rotor of the alternator will remain unchanged because there was no change on the resistance of its coil. The change in current, after the modification, will be noticed only in the stator coils and this holds true because the product of POWER for any given alternator (i.e Volts x Amperes) is unchanged. And this power at the output depends on the exitation current and the rotor speed. In other words, for the same POWER output, exitation and speed of the rotor must be kept as before the modification. No way to get the same power with less r.p.m...

    If you took the winding out of the rotor coil, swapped it for slightly thinner you'd fit many more turns on the rotor.
    Would this mean the same magnetic output maybe more at a lower voltage?
    It would be great if we could reduce the consumption of excitement 👍🏼🙂

    Wrong wire color connections!. Change red with green!. min. 7:39 Conforming to mesurements, min. 4:56 last two wire must be green!

    Mr Electron you had better go back to school to learn how to solder properly. Touch iron to object to heat and then touch solder to object - not to the iron. You are losing most of the effectiveness of the flux in the solder. If using fluxless solder, you should apply flux to the object to be soldered.
