I lived with the record and Rainbow in Curved Air for years, major musical inspiration in my early years as a musician. Truly groundbreaking work by one of the masters, who also just happens to be a truly great person as well.
its one of those things that brings so much cerebral satisfaction, especially in the dark. Ive seen him twice, but though good, he was playing jazz and improvised piano. I wonder if he ever plays in this style now?

heaven and hell are conditions within a human or living soul/being. both exist right here on this earth. they are not metaphysical abstractions. and they are conceptually still useful for our monkey biology to keep as sign post on the way to infinity. which if we are lucky we never actually get clever enough to reach or create.

I saw him tonight; he was improvising piano/synth/synth organ/melodica/vocals accompanied by his son on guitar who is a really good guitarist.
