- My friends and I went camping at Pfeiffer State Park in Big Sur, CA back in November. When the date was approaching, there was a storm warning and that it will rain during the weekend we went. Luckily, it was intermittent rain and was actually very enjoyable. I did a slightly different set up this time by ditching the provided picnic table and setting up tables under the canopy that I brought.

The rain made it really relaxing.
Thank you so much for sharing your camping experience! I’m fascinated to learn about camping in the northern parts of this beautiful state! Even though I have lived here all my life!!! 😂 my family loves camping!
I'm glad you enjoyed watching it! It's weird but the furthest south side of California I have camped at is probably Pismo Beach! I am actually trying to find more spots closer to SoCal so I don't have to drive so far LOL
enjoyed ur video would be awesome if you can put brand name gear/equipment in ur description next camping trip. just started camping and looking to get some gear ideas.
Thanks for the idea! I actually edited this video description and added the gear I have used. I will try to add them into future camping videos!
Really good video! The only complaint is that the music you play over the video is very loud and I would have personally preferred to hear the sounds of you setting up the camp with the sounds of rain. I loved the sounds of rain when you were cooking and eating! You are very personable and I will definitely watch your videos again!
Thanks! I think the issue was that the gopro didn't pick up sound well. I reduced the music by 10-15db and tried to amplify the audio. I actually bought a wireless mic to resolve this issue next time. I'm still trying to figure out the best audio setting so feedback like this is appreciated!
where did u buy your canopy and what brand?
The brand was by ALL-TOP and I bought it off Amazon. The specific size I bought was the 6.6'x8.2'. You can find it if you search for ALL-Top Vehicle Awning

This was the Main Campsite at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and my specific site was #184
