Watching you was hilarious. The pan was too hot, that's why the Chapatis were burnt. The big patches were because of using Self Rising Flour. The pan can be cooled by wiping with a cloth soaked in water and drained in between cooking each Chapati. If you continue this activity with your children, you will became accomplished Chapati Makers.
Makofii kwa George you have made it the young ones can make fire, can make dough, can make a Chapati on their own.you have made an history to them 👏👏👏👏🙏
I also applaud George for the love and support as a family man, and his lovely wife who is so supportive. Blessings to you all. The Chapatti making was hilarious, I love it ❤🎉🎉
Talk of intentional marriage.....a very good job to George.....for the chapatis wrong flour plus don't put oil first it will burn without really being cooked otherwise u have tried..❤❤❤❤
Practice makes perfect. Next time invite grandma to show you. That’s how everyone does first time chapatis. I really enjoyed the fun you guys had making them.
Some men after getting married can not have anything to do with the kitchen let alone make a simple meal! I applaud George for teaching his kids how to light a charcoal stove, cook etc
This was the best chapati tutorial ever! George said it best, the best chapati in Kenya, such a blessed family moment there. You know them chapatis were good each child made theirs and eat it all and stood waiting for seconds. Shapeless, burnt but all in all made with love, thats what counts.
Akithii Beekeepers. I love the way you all think and add value to your area! And thank you for sharing this video. It's a great example of family fun and making memories. The kids will probably remember these as the best chapos EVER! because of all the fun they had making them with you.
The unga is for mandazi, It is raising on heat. Use the one without self raising.I love how you are raising your children. They have no phones on their hands. They are hands on training. Tv, playing and reading books, cooking in the village setting with fresh air. This is very nice. Fo the jiko instead of blowing allow the wind to blow into the mouth where the paper is and it help in lighting
This is the most I have seen George talk. He was so committed, rightfully advertised the work of his hands. I think being Kenyan he understood how bad things were going hence the funny jokes😂😂😂 I love the trial with more practice things will get better. Ps follow a recipe next time😂😂😂
Hi 👋 our little princess 👑 of the house 🏡 you rolled it very well; indeed you learn it from your grandmother 👵 as your beautiful mother said it, watching you guys from Canada 🇨🇦.
The most hilarious video of the year ..you loughrd more than us .a genuine Lough unlike in other vlogers. Kudos George dad of a year. You really made a change from business all the time.. Let the kid strike the matches away from themselves ,it's safer . 10/10 guys
It has never occured to me lighting the charcoal stove can be this exciting 😜😜🤣🤣 I always hated it when mama made me do it every evening back in my childhood in Gitimbine, Meru....I still do hate it... Maybe until today 🤭🤣🤣🤣
I so enjoyed this video Mekenze.... George is a hands on Dad....🎉 So much fun.... London is definitely a Daddys girl.... She wants to try everything 👏👏👏 Great video Mekenze... So real....🎉🎉🎉
Hi McKenzie, it’s so nice to see all the family working together to make Chapati l was laughing right through the Vlog George is so funny😮 From Australia
😂😂😂😂 I love it! Add ground cardamom and lemon zest to the remainder of the dough. Roll out the door until it’s 1cm thick then cut into triangles. Deep fry and enjoy mandazi
😂😂😂😂 I’m watching this at work. Tears rolling down my eyes. Lmao. George doing everything wrong. Especially oiling the pan first 😂I remember first time I attempted and they came out like theirs. Now I’m a pro. Hope they keep practicing.
Very hilarious, I think the flour was not the right one. Also use warm to a little hot 💧. for kneading the dough. And also too hot jiko. And lastly; but may be not true "too many hands spoil the soup. Try another time, I bet they'll turn out good 👍.
Try make chapatis gas/electric burner, because then you can control the amount of heat more easily. Jiko is just a mess plus headaches from the little amount of CO you inhale.
If more Kenyan men were like George, there would be less single mother families in this country. He’s so present and intentional ❤ I agree with him” The Best Chapatis in Kenya” coz they were made with fun, laughter and looots of love 😂😂😂❤ The chicken was so cute 😂❤
You know I'm not a good cook but I think I love those chipatis, even though some look like some burned 🍞 bread I'm quite sure that you and your beloved family did a great job.🔥💞🔥🔥🔥🔥✌🏽
I hope you have planted AloeVera. Aloevera is a first aid for burns and cuts. I saw you son in blue shirt was almost burnt by that flame that burst out just after his attempt to light the jiko.
You've done a remarkable job but I agree with the rest....use All Purpose Flour next time. To make them fluffy, kindly apply oil, butter or margarine after rolling them out as you did the first time....then make another ball after applying the oil or margarine. Leave it to rest and roll it out as you cook. It'll be be yummy and will have layers.
Just admirable how you spend quality time together as a family and also you give your children life skills.
this family inspires me a lot
My funny TH-camr family; I laugh to tears 😭 when the Queen 👸 of the house 🏡 said I can’t breathe 🧘♀️.
George, you are a very good african dad. Waafrika jamani jifunzeni maisha ya George
The best chapati, made with love! The children are so adorable and helpful. ❤️🥞

Nice seeing the little ones getting to learn such domestic chores like lighting a charcoal stove, cooking etc..
Makofii kwa George you have made it the young ones can make fire, can make dough, can make a Chapati on their own.you have made an history to them 👏👏👏👏🙏
GOOD COOK training for the kids.
These Chapatis look real delicious. Love to all from USA.
I also applaud George for the love and support as a family man, and his lovely wife who is so supportive. Blessings to you all. The Chapatti making was hilarious, I love it ❤🎉🎉
I love the vlogs, George is always a present dad. Beautiful family.
Chapati flour after kneading needs to be left covered for 10 to 15 to stretch out easily as you roll into shape.
Talk of intentional marriage.....a very good job to George.....for the chapatis wrong flour plus don't put oil first it will burn without really being cooked otherwise u have tried..❤❤❤❤
Woh George is the best dad and husband you have.He bond very well with his family.
Absolutely true😂😂😂
What a great Dad!❤ What a great family !❤🎉
Practice makes perfect. Next time invite grandma to show you. That’s how everyone does first time chapatis. I really enjoyed the fun you guys had making them.

When the jiko gets too hot, you reduce it's heat by closing it's door
Good to know 😂😅♥️

The children's appetite for chapatis is unbelievably huge. This is a good beginning to handle the situation
This is really fun🤣🤣
Love the way George helps with the cooking process along with teaching the kids❤😊
That was a fun vlog.
Good job with the beekeeping venture. Would you mind sharing the contacts of the person you bought the hives from at Makutano?

Hi McKenzie, it’s so nice to see all the family working together to make Chapati l was laughing right through the Vlog George is so funny😮
From Australia
BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL
The flour is not for chapati that's for mandazi or pancakes next time use all purpose flour
Yeah it's workable in taste; your remaining dough, roll into small balls and deep fry in deep oil, you'll get super mandazis.
Some cultures use yeast or baking powder in their chapatis, nothing wrong with that
I thought so as well.
practise is the master of perfection.
What a beautiful family session 🎉
😂😂😂😂 I love it! Add ground cardamom and lemon zest to the remainder of the dough. Roll out the door until it’s 1cm thick then cut into triangles. Deep fry and enjoy mandazi
lol!! So glad to know we unintentionally made mandazi 😂
Good job.. practice makes perfect .. keep up
Great video and love the hee hive logo. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing always... Blessings 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Mekenze your laughter made my day 😂😂😂😂😂 you guys are living the dream. What a nice family
😂😂 I’m glad to hear it made your day.
That chapati looks like the bread Jesus broke at the last supper! 😂
Okay this comment wins 🤣
absolutely🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Refreshing video ❤❤
Being your first time making chapati, its ok to make mistakes. Next time am sure you will do better😊
I'm laughing before watching😂😂😂😂..I can imagine how the first time is disappointing. But it gets better with time.
😂😂😂😂 I’m watching this at work. Tears rolling down my eyes. Lmao. George doing everything wrong. Especially oiling the pan first 😂I remember first time I attempted and they came out like theirs. Now I’m a pro. Hope they keep practicing.
Well, this is the new family tradition. It’s the memories that are made. They will always remember these chapatis. 😂😂
Waaa you made my day😂😂
But practice makes perfect, good effort by Kenyan father
The flour u used is good in pancakes good trial
Great content
Very hilarious, I think the flour was not the right one. Also use warm to a little hot 💧. for kneading the dough. And also too hot jiko. And lastly; but may be not true "too many hands spoil the soup. Try another time, I bet they'll turn out good 👍.
Good try! Good teamwork. Use All Purpose Flour next time. Practice Practice makes perfect.
Good trial, next time use warm water for neading, then leave dough for around 30 minutes while covered. that pan was too hot. love you.
Try make chapatis gas/electric burner, because then you can control the amount of heat more easily. Jiko is just a mess plus headaches from the little amount of CO you inhale.
Tell your husband to try use kavera on top of the charcoal to like the stove or sigiri
😂😂😂 have never thought of using self rising flour for chapo. I promise you I will try. I have really enjoyed to watch the kids participate 👍👍👍
I once did...had manda-chapo😂😂
If more Kenyan men were like George, there would be less single mother families in this country.
He’s so present and intentional ❤
I agree with him” The Best Chapatis in Kenya” coz they were made with fun, laughter and looots of love 😂😂😂❤
The chicken was so cute 😂❤
Great time for the family Limiri...
Nicely family❤

😊❤ love love love
You know I'm not a good cook but I think I love those chipatis, even though some look like some burned 🍞 bread I'm quite sure that you and your beloved family did a great job.🔥💞🔥🔥🔥🔥✌🏽
It has baking soda. Baba don't add oil on dough before it heats both sides minus oil
I hope you have planted AloeVera. Aloevera is a first aid for burns and cuts. I saw you son in blue shirt was almost burnt by that flame that burst out just after his attempt to light the jiko.
Stop lying Lucas had already moved and standing up what video you watch.
0:15. 😆😆😆😆😆, bwahaha! This was a good one!
A happy family
George really knows how to knead the dough😅
You've done a remarkable job but I agree with the rest....use All Purpose Flour next time.
