I picked up some customer wrapped dime rolls and some bank wrapped dime boxes and searched them in hopes of finding some face value silver. Dimes were tough last year so I wasn't too optimistic that I would score some silver but you never know what the rolls and the boxes might produce. Let's see if we can find any silver! 🔴Did you notice my Coin Hunting Mat? Heck yeah that Merc was a sweet find! It might be slick - but you can't get mad at finding a dime that's over 100 years old! Dimes are tough - but you found multiple silver and some cool foreigns! Another great video!
Always great to be finding silver. I had two Coinstar finds recently. A 1929 Mercury last Friday and a 1962 D Roosevelt on Monday. Living in Ohio, I see a bit more Canadian change, and I've found four of the Year of the Volunteer dimes. They really do stand out, and I wish they had used that obverse design for more than that one year.
The genie knows the drill.... As long as Rob asks nicely... The genie better do the right thing. I don't want to threaten the genie with violence. 😆 😆 😆. Great find with the Mercury dime. It's all good in the end though. As long as we are having a good time. Thanks Rob.
Just got a box of dimes the other day and got a 1959 D and a 1954. I was saying I was going to find nothing in the last roll and found the 1954. What a parting gift!
@@RobFindsTreasureI just had one of my worst wheat cent boxes, but I found a red 1958, 2 brown 1936's, one was an ender, and a 1946 D. It took 40 rolls to get the 1958 which was the first wheat cent of the box, but it's strange that I also found 3 proofs in the last 10 rolls, a 1959 proof, 1961 proof, and a 1962 proof. Do you think this could be the end of a collection dump of old proofs?
Dimes have been brutal for me this year . Only found 3 silver Rosie's this year. Been killing it on the pennys the last couple weeks. Found a 1916 S 1939S and a 1929 D all lower mintage. And found several common dates from the 20s and 30s also.
I know things change over the years, lived at my grandparents the Summer of 81 and much of the next 2 summers. They had a seasonal business on the property and I'd work waiting on customers even though I was too young for a regular job. We took in and also went through plenty of change and most if not all rolls were hand rolled by bank customers or bank employees. Almost every roll we'd find a couple wheat cents, every day we'd get war nickels and usually silver dimes. People still paid with halves, but I don't think my grandma was aware of Kennedy 65-70:being silver, I took/bought most but I'd spend them too as I didn't know either. Silver quarters weren't that common but probably one per $100.
Yoo just started getting into coins and have been bingeing your old videos. I opened my first penny box got 7 wheaties and an 1887 Indian head was not expecting Indian head at all
My dad was over there designing an airport and I visited him. I was just there for a few months from Dec 1991-Jan 1992. Thanks for asking and for being a long time channel member brother!

You got that right!
Mercury dimes never get old when coin roll hunting.
That was the funniest thing ever when you turn into a genie😂😂😂😂
😂 A lot of the dime time hunts have silly intros as well!
🎉😂😂😂😂❤😂😂😂😂
Great hunt Rob!
I found a 1974 D dime in my wallet, it's a black color. I tried looking it up but I'm unsure if I have something
What are those like containers 🫙 that you put the coins in, not the rolls, the plastic containers?
Coin tubes.
@@RobFindsTreasure ok thanks for answering :)
Have a nice day!
Awesome dime hunt congratulations on finding 2 silver dimes and a 70 proof dime thanks for sharing Rob
I had a box 2 weeks ago. Brutal. Most were new. 5 rolls left a slick merc popped out. Crazy

I got my first 2 wheat pennies for June today in a store. I always love the silver genie. I wish I had one.
Thanks RFT, nice finds 😊
Silver jar is happy!
Awesome dime time hunt and fun finds.
Thanks 👍
love it when you find silver and old silver great dime hunt
Me too!
Silver 🤓 and a Mercury dime in circulation? I haven't seen one of those since I was a paper boy.
Love stacking 90% dimes in this period of silver volatility. It takes the silver anxiety stress out for me. 😂 Thanks for sharing.
Good stuff, Rob
That was a sweet hunt!
Nice Rob!!!
The genie has been helpful lately.
He has. Hopefully with Half Dollars tomorrow too!
8:00 I also found one of those in a role.
Fun stream
🌞 gotta love them MERCURY DIMES 🥫
Did you bring any change back from Hong Kong? Be crazy if you did & that's one of them, found its way back to you lol
Searched 10 quarter rolls roday , Got a 52 p and a 2008 Bermuda . And Upgraded my Virgin Island and Puerto Rico , Sweet hong kong Dime .
Congratulations on finding silver.
Thank you!
Wuw Rob, this is REALLY weird. I was searching through my changes jar today and I found a Cayman Islands coin exactly like the one you found.
Very cool!
The way that edge looked, I thought that was older than a Merc for sure!
Me too!!!

Nice penny finds!
I do 250 in quarters 50 in nickels and a few rolls of dimes a few times a week.
The thinking is that I end up with alot more customer wrapped rolls.

WOW! Nice find and congrats! Also, thank you for watching the videos.
i don't hunt Dimes as often as i should. i will be going thru some old silver ones shortly, and I'm hoping for something amazing
Good luck and happy hunting!
@@RobFindsTreasure update: 1964 Quarter DDR acquired as well as 1879-P and 1883-P Morgan
Every customer wrapped roll I open that's been taped is a no go...pennies, nickles, dimes. They seem to always be searched re-wraps
Any time is a good time for dime time
FWIW, I was in Hong Kong in 1979 and 80.
See, the Silver Genie helped you again. Just ask him for help with the quarters!
That's the plan!
Good luck rob
Thank you Mary!
Do you wrap up your coins before taking them to the bank or do you leave them loose? It’s such a hassle and deters me from doing more coin roll hunts
Both, depending on the bank.
The older the Merc, the cuter and littler it is.
LOL
not to bad of a dime time hey? its always good to have some finds :)
Dime Time!
Pretty good.
I’m going over the Benicia bridge now and I was first 💪🏁

Went through $500 today, 0 silver.
Ugh. I know the feeling…
Time for dimes! At 9 so far for 2024.
Nice! I am at 5 now and I will take it!
Honestly, any found silver is a gift nowadays.
The Red Book lists 1982 as valuable. No?
Only the ones that have a missing Philadelphia mint mark.
Cool
