    This is so interesting. I’m not quite at the point where I would know what to do with a form, but it’s definitely something to look forward to! Thank you for the review. This form looks so professional.

    Nice review! The upgraded dress form makes a considerable difference based on our exact measurements. I love mine, too! Now, you don't have to undress constantly during the fitting stages. Kudos to your husband; he selected the perfect gift for you! Black-eyed peas and cornbread, OK, I need to come to your house for dinner....my favorites! Happy Sewing!

      Yes, it is making a huge difference for sure! This was my second favorite gift that he’s ever bought me, the first was my first sewing machine.❤️ If you were in the Bay Area I would make you some black eyed peas and cornbread. 😂 Happy sewing!

    Very nice!!! Thanks for sharing this! I don’t have one but after seeing this I would definitely get this type so that I can make adjustments. It looks perfect and the slip finished it off.

    Congratulations on your new dress form!🎉🎉🎉 Those pins you were using to help pad your dressform were a neat idea! I’ll have to look for some of those! (I used regular pins, which were extremely difficult to use.)

      I used regular pins for my first dress form and learned my lesson because they kept falling out.

    Thanks so much for sharing this! It looks like a great solution for you! Have you checked bust apex to see how close that is to your measurements?

      Great question. I did have to adjust the pads (lowering them) to get the correct apex measurement. I definitely had them positioned too high. My girls don’t sit up as high as they used too. 😂
      I used this blog post I found on google to help me figure out where the apex is on my body. monserrattlopez.wordpress.com/2015/01/20/determining-your-bust-apex/

    How do you put pants on the dress form when the rod's in the way?

    • @ShereeThomas30
      @ShereeThomas30  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You just unscrew the body. You twist it and then left it up and off the rod.
