    Pano po yung 0.3605 pag ginamit po kasi yung
    1+i=(1+r/m)^m
    1+.08=(1+x/4)^4 ang makukuha is 0.0777
    Pag naman ..
    1+i=(1+r/m)^m ang makukuha is
    0.0824
    Pero ang ginawa nyo po ganto...
    1+i=(1+r)^m lang kaya nakuha nuo po .3605
    Ganon po ba dapat yun?
    Thank you po.

    A loan of Php 80,000 with interest of 10% compounded semiannually is to be amortized by 5 equal payments at the end of each 6 months, the first payment is to be made after 2 years. Find the semiannual payment and construct an amortization schedule. Thank you in advance Engineer!

      Hi ms Mahriah, please check out my video on annuities, nacover ko yung mga ganyan duon. Ang mga equal payments kasi ay tinatawag na annuities, so andun yun. Nasa description ng video na to yung link👇. Pag napanood mo at nakukulangan ka parin, then just let me know. Thanks a lot sa panonood and hope nakatulong yung video.😉

    It is estimated that insulation of steam pipes in a factory will reduce fuel bill by as much as 20%. The cost of insulation is P9,000 and the cost of taxes and insurance is 5% of the initial cost. Without the insulation, the annual fuel bill is P18,000. If the insulation is worthless after 6 years and a minimum of 12% is desired, would it be worthwhile to invest in the insulation?

    Hi sir sa problem number 2 po yung finding he interest rate within 4 years how come po sya naging 0.3604... but when you calculate the (1+0.08)⁴ Ang lalabas ay 1.3604...

    • @Engr.miller
      @Engr.miller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John, meron pa kasing 1 dun sa left side ng equation, so pag nilipat dun sa right side magiging negative 1, kaya ang matitira nalang ay 0.3604.

    17:38 How to arrive at the conversion? I'm thinking about the concept of effective interest rate, but it seems like there is other concept applied there. Engr. @Marvin Miller Garcia

    • @Engr.miller
      @Engr.miller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What i did there is the concept of effective interest, the amount of interest using the interest rate every four years is equal to the amount of interest in 4 years using the interest rate every year. 1peso-4year analysis

      @@Engr.miller di po ba dapat i-divide yun sa m? Yung r/ m po?

    • @Engr.miller
      @Engr.miller  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @wenalynombac5753 nope, hindi na po kailangan kasi nakayearly naman na siya so yung m is 1. Yung m kasi is the number of terms per year, kaya pag monthly m=12, pag quarterly m=4, and so on. So, pag yearly yung interest rate yung m ay simply 1, so kahit wala na. Thanks po sa question! ☺️

      @wenalynombac hehe, medyo naconfuse ka nga siguro jan. Hehe, nagcoconvert kasi tayo ng interest every year to interest every 4 years dahil yung payments ay every 4 years. So: 1 + i(**every 4 years) = [1 + i(**every year)]^4. Yung m sa baba is 1 so no need to right.
