Thanks a lot! I don't remember exactly as it's been a while, but in general I'll record about 5 or 6 takes and take the one I prefer in that. As for tips, all I can say really is to practice as much as you can lol. Play along to songs that you like but also make sure to try to learn some rudiments and techniques and what not. There's the Drumeo channel on youtube that has a ton of free lessons you can use if you want, that can be a good start to look at. Good luck and have fun drumming! 😁
