I'm 100% on the same page as you. I just commented on another video abt how I just went to the "Days of the Dead" convention in Atl this passed Jan. 2 of my main reasons for going was to meet Kim Coates & Mark Boone Jr from SOA, but more importantly, Jess & Michael. I was over the moon ecstatic when I saw them on the guest list. They were wonderful, and more than happy to take pics with me, autograph pics, and then gave me a big hug when I asked if it was okay. Quite honestly I thought they'd respectfully decline when I asked them, but without hesitation I was given big squeezes from both. I just love em'!

I was never into slasher movies. I have a blood phobia and didn’t want to ‘encourage’ my fainting. I am obsessed with Dracula. I also make a lot of tea when these films are on.
I may watch some more of these films now I’ve seen a little bit of them. X

Jessica I was so nuts about Nightbreed when it was released I painted a large version of the 'cave painting' of Peloquin biting Boone and wrote Rachel's speech that began " To be able to fly, to be smoke or a wolf.." out in full directly on my bedroom wall so yeah.. it's a good film to be crazy about. I have yet to live anywhere I can paint The Candyman around a door.. but that time will come !

I was watching horror more in the 70’s and 80’s. My kids watched all the 90’s stuff but we all collect horror/ slashers collectibles. That was a great exhibit. Happy Halloween 🎃

I love that Tremors is now considered a 90's slasher movie. I think people at the time considered it more of a giant monster movie but it's so much more than that.

I'm surprised I remembered all those movies, I remember reading the original Candyman short story in the books of blood back in the 80s, it was originally set in Liverpool I think. You know I really look forward to you guys, you do, and visit so many interesting things, I'm still planning on visiting Blueberry Hill sometime if I ever cross the pond again. LOVE this museum. Got a chance to visit it last Halloween when they had the Evil Dead exhibit, and was blown away. Wish we had something like this in Atlanta!

I remember the first VCR we got! It was 1982, the year I turned 13, and the remote was wired so we ran the wire under the living room rug to hide it.
