Speaking of Slovak villages, you should definitely have Vlkolínec village in your bucket list. It's a traditional village surrounded by mountains, which belongs to UNESCO world heritage.

I am in Sydney and just waiting for my passport to arrive from Slovakia, so I can get back over there after being stuck Down Under for 3 years! You made me feel like I was already there. You did the right choice when bringing your family. I am crossing Koliba Panoráma often when travelling to North of Slovakia, but never did a sidetrip to visit it.
The place when the video started. From there it took about 45 minutes to watchtower. There was also a sign for it. Check Špicák rozhľadňa and go there for sure
Now Andre compare all this with growing in UK..i believe central Europe offers so much more for families than UK.. culture, landscape, nature, food, weather etc 👍👍👍
Yeah, Slovak country is Magic with mountains, forests, rivers, towns, villages, friendly people, step by step is something interesting. Just only go and watch and perceive.
