- A pretty basic stand crush setup for Requiem that won't work 99% of the time because it can still be interrupted during the startup. I was lucky that the my opponent didn't know that.

Funny thing is that they all could punish that; DIO with 2A, Abdul with a 663A, Jotaro with 663A (which can lead to a tod new vid soon shameless plug), second DIO with a 663A, Oldseph - no comment. It must mess with player's brain on a level higher than the timestop itself. Mega cool tho would do in real match.

They can't, because Ceekos used stand crush. Unlike normal stand crash, stand crush will stunt the opponent for 2 -3 seconds so he will have time to use requiem without getting punishment.
This is also a huge opportunity for Young Joseph to Aja other Stand on Characters (except Iggy)

@@tuanbom008 I know dude, I have like 2k+ hours in this game. They can still punish him since they recover fast enough, most reliable way to do it is to s.44C sc! on block, and still in some cases it might be punishable.

I was under the impression that even with a stand crash it was punishable
It is, according to the description, except for certain characters with really long stand crash animations I'm guessing (I may be wrong tho), it's just that some people don't know how to punish it
@@AffyMoon that's what it seems like in the first clip I think the dio couldve punished that but held back for a split second, maybe couldve gotten 2a there but idk
@@AffyMoon They probably could've been interrupted because of how close he was, but the reason for the long stand crash animation is because he blocked causing the animation to last longer. If you wanna make it actually work somewhat you have to block stand crash with s.44C as it is the most effective way to gain distance from the opponent.

note that this isn't a real polnareff requiem combo. the reason being is there are two different types of stand crashes. stand crash and stand crush. stand crash happens when your opponent is HIT with an attack and then they get stand crashed like normal for a little bit so you can further combo / setup. stand crush on the other hand is where your opponent BLOCKS your attack but their stand still crash. instead they will stand crash just like in the video. so technically this combo requires you to block. to not get comboed by this just don't hold block easy
