    Especially in that blue color this is peak BMW for me. I was a child like 7 years old when they came out.
    The father of a kid in my class worked in a high position at BMW. This family lived near by my grandmother so i often saw their property. His faster had the 530D Touring in that exact color and once i saw it in the morning when going to school, driving thru sick foggy weather. The xeon lights were space age at that time. I was totally in love with that car. Once i could sit inside while we drove to the birthday party off the kid. I was so happy and never said a word about it. :D
    And of course the 4 exhaust pipes totally blew my mind as a kid! :D
    Also his father often tested new vehicles for BMW. So once i saw the Z8 in his yard. I never saw something like this before. I liked it but somehow i thought it looked strange.
    Now as im grown i cant get my eyes off the Z8.

      Great story. I remember hearing an m5 not knowing what is was at the time and wondering how any bmw could sound like a muscle car😅

      Sorry forgot to ask, how much did this entire project, without purchase price of the car, cost you? Thanks.

      Thank you. I used kitchen sponges and all purpose cleaner. And some spatulas for the thick dirt. Im gonna upload a video on it for my e46 if you want to see more details:) will be a little while though.

      @@OEMplusRESTO aha, i thought it was worse. We use some kind of wax, very penetrable, not sure of product name.

    • @OEMplusRESTO
      @OEMplusRESTO ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kwaki82 you use a wax to clean it off? Nice. Would love to know its name so i can google it and see if its something i should try.
      You can clean the underside with a plethora of products. I just use the cheapest option really. But very time consuming though

    • @kwaki82
      @kwaki82 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OEMplusRESTO no, no ww use it for protection, so i was surprised it went off so easy. (thought yours was waxed, as that is "the best protection")
      Aaah just remembered protec. is called Krown oil!

    • @OEMplusRESTO
      @OEMplusRESTO ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kwaki82 ah ok. Now i see. On this car there was a heavy layer of that tar/wax like stuff too. Thats why i cleaned it off. I dont like it. Every little task you perform you get super dirty because of that wax like substance endinn up on you, the tools, the floor. Everywhere

    You’re allowed to delete the mufflers in Denmark? I’m surprised!

    • @OEMplusRESTO
      @OEMplusRESTO ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest im not sure.
      It did fail mot because the resonators were non E compliant. The inspector didnt care for the removal of mufflers though. He said as long as it the noise is not too much it doesnt matter. What did matter though was the resonators were not approved. They were just some run of the mill magnaflows
