    My mom and I would watch ice skating which was one of her favorite things and she would always say, ‘they make it look so easy’. All great artists do that as you just did in this video. The process is amazing. It’s so my favorite of all your beautiful pieces. Brava!

    I think it would be great if you explained what epoxy and resin you use for what stages your working on and also explain the different glass you purchase and the ones that you make. Thank you

    Do you have a video on how to make the large glass pieces?

    • @mariettabajer499
      @mariettabajer499  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been asked by the galleries where I sell my art not to disclose this information. It has taken me a very long time to figure out how to make them and it's one of my "secrets". I hope you understand.

    That is really beautiful. I'm starting to work with resin and tried the shattered glass on a jewelry box I was making.
    I messed up and didnt let my resin dry before adding the shatter. But now I know for next time. Its so pretty!!

      Thank you Letisha! I love it! But it does take a lot of practice and is very expensive...

    What kind of board do you work on? When you said how heavy it is, it made me wonder what would carry all the weight of the glass without bowing. Thanx!

    Love Amethyst, my birthstone. May I ask where you get those lovely stones and glass?

    • @mariettabajer499
      @mariettabajer499  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I purchase the smaller glass and stones on line from various vendors. Mostly from Celestialfireglass. I I make the very large clear pieces. There is no place to purchase them.

    WOW Absolutely gorgeous! Did you put the glass on your first layer of resin? Or do wait till it dries put the second coat and then add the glass? I’m really new at this but I love your work.

      @mariettabajer499  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! On this particular piece, I added the glass onto the first layer of resin that was curing for about 8-10 hours. Then I poured a clear resin layer with sparkles in some places. You have to make sure that you don't wait longer than 24 hours to pour the second layer as it won't adhere properly to the first, and cause surface defects.

      People were complaining that my videos were too long at the start. So I decided to speed them up so people don't loose interest.

    I loved your video. The lines at 1:28 is super creative. Your illustration most def is similar to Oli Mueller. His work sorta reminds me of Proko and a blend of Andy Warhol! He is the vibiest graphic designer in America and he always gets creative every time.
    Go check his TH-cam out and give Oli Mueller a like! 👉 #DayInTheLifeOfOliMueller
