The Black Keys - Poor Boy a Long Way From Home (Official Audio)

- Delta Kream is out now via Nonesuch Records. The album celebrates the band’s roots and features eleven Mississippi hill country blues songs by R. L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, among others.
Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney recorded Delta Kream at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville and the album takes its name from William Eggleston’s iconic Mississippi photograph that is on its cover. The album features musicians Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton, long-time members of the bands of blues legends including R. L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, and Sam Bacco on auxiliary percussion.

One thing you gotta remember with this style of bad, violent, stomping blues....don't think it needs to be perfect. It'll be a little rough around the edges and it doesn't matter. Like the old car you always loved or the girl who you never forget...not perfect, but it never stopped you from wanting more, always.

I'm a huge RL Burnside and blues fan, this album is bar none amazing. They are both top of their class in music to me. Hard to believe it only took them about 10 hours to make this album. But like a friend of mine said, "Must come naturally."
