Back when I was on Twitter, I used to hold quarterly "block parties." The day before the party, I would warn everyone seeing my tweet that I was going to be unfiltered and probably offend anyone without thick skin, so this was their advance warning to block me. The next day, I would spend the day shit posting my horrible takes and see how many followers I lost by the end of the day. It prevented a lot of the Twitter drama I'd receive because everyone already knew if they liked my content or not. Works for meager 8-10k range profiles, but probably wouldn't do much for an established name like yours. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Sometimes we want the last word, but after we take the time & effort to think of a good come back and post whatever, you realize you wasted so much time on some stranger you'll never even meet.

I feel like the biggest trick to not getting offended(in real life or online) is to learn how to find humor in your own faults, laugh about it, & do so with your friends. Because not only does it do wonders for your self-esteem, finding joy in what you consider your "worst", but that also makes it impossible for others to pick on it. Because a genuine insult holds no value if the people that are "supposed" to be insulted are laughing at it.
That's a known tactic. Even if the others continue to pick on it with the laughing atmosphere you just made, they'll just look like a prick mostly. Very effective yet simple!

Back when I was on Twitter, I used to hold quarterly "block parties." The day before the party, I would warn everyone seeing my tweet that I was going to be unfiltered and probably offend anyone without thick skin, so this was their advance warning to block me. The next day, I would spend the day shit posting my horrible takes and see how many followers I lost by the end of the day. It prevented a lot of the Twitter drama I'd receive because everyone already knew if they liked my content or not. Works for meager 8-10k range profiles, but probably wouldn't do much for an established name like yours. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I feel like the biggest trick to not getting offended(in real life or online) is to learn how to find humor in your own faults, laugh about it, & do so with your friends.
Because not only does it do wonders for your self-esteem, finding joy in what you consider your "worst", but that also makes it impossible for others to pick on it. Because a genuine insult holds no value if the people that are "supposed" to be insulted are laughing at it.

But for real - The problem is that annoying social media platforms, like Twitter, just randomly send push notifications to your screen with vibration and accustic notifications for random posts of random people whom you don't follow, never saw and don't like to see their stuff. And they stay there until you wipe them away with your finger. And you can't deactivate it, unless you deactivate ALL notifications or uninstall the app. 😅 It's not like you can avoid it. Sure, you can block them but then Twitter will just send push notifications to your start screen from another user. I blocked like more than 100 people already. They literally push it into your face. I just uninstalled Twitter and other crappy apps. 😂
