Ella is so so cute! I can absolutely empathize with cats and trees: I have one kitty myself, and there was definitely a learning curve when it came to letting the Christmas tree be. I also love your trees: they look so high quality! Since I am living in an apartment provided by the school I teach at, I am not going to purchase anything huge in terms of decor. However, keeping my fingers crossed, I might be closing in on literally the house of my dreams soon, with all my decorating dreams becoming a reality!
That is so exciting! I hope it goes through smoothly for you! Smart to wait until you're settled to invest in more permanent pieces. Cats are all so different when it comes to what they're interested in and will bother, and what they're not. I've been so lucky that I've never had a cat that really goes ham on a Christmas tree but with a baby like this I just don't know what she'll do haha! She's such a good kitten overall, but after all she is still in fact a kitten! So we're just taking it slow!
The trees are really lovely. I just love fall colors. It's my favorite time of year. Such a nice video, Jenna. Since we don't have a lot of storage space, I tend to use the same decor each year. Occasionally I will purchase a new piece and switch an old one out, but I love what I have. Some are very old things from the past that really have sentimental value for me.
Thank you Patti! Aren't those warm fall colors just the best?! I'm lucky to have lots of storage space but that comes with its own perils haha! I also love those sentimental pieces 💜 edited to add: I'm putting together a video on building a timeless holiday decor collection, and if you don't mind I'd love if you'd share your thoughts about what pieces you think are really worth investing in? I value your opinion and I'll take it into consideration when making my video!
@@wrenhavenhouseandgarden You are so welcome, Jenna. It must be nice to have ample storage space, but I realize sometimes that space can give one a false sense of 'just one more thing won't hurt', feeling, lol! 😄
So beautiful! I love trees in urns and baskets. Eager to see the video on making those. Ella has no idea how she hit the jackpot in life😅! Your pets are so sweet and obviously well loved❤.
Thank you so much for your kind words I really appreciate them, and I always enjoy your comments! I hope you do check out that urn video, it was a really fun and rewarding project!
You could persevered them with mod podge or bake them so you can have the for years to come! Also, I ways buy decor for Christmas and fall at the end of the season! It's a great tip to buy artificial trees, garlands ornaments etc up until February. You have to go to the store every week to spot hidden gems! Also the most expensive items if you find them will be like $15-$10. You have to keep your eye on them
Your trees are beautifully decorated! Love the natural elements & the natural-looking elements! I'm working at upgrading my decorating items - donating the cheaper ones, buying (on-sale) ones I really love. Btw, your wreath is beautiful, too. Did I miss a video where you showed how to make it? Thank you for this video! 🍁🍂🍁
Thank you so much! Welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed! I think the wreath you're referring to is in this video: "Mine Vs Theirs" th-cam.com/video/-vV_3BPHVRE/w-d-xo.html Slowly curating your decor collection and replacing things with quality items you'll love for a long time is the best way to go!
I had such a great time making this Fall decorating video for you! Do you reuse your decor year on year? And do you like the "natural glam" look?
