Andy Katzenmoyer was my idol in HS. However, I have watched several games of his now, and he was (I hate to say it) overrated. A beast to be sure, but bad reads, bad motor, bad angles, can't shed blocks, etc. Really has shit in the cheerios of my childhood honestly. it is especially the case when you watch similar tape of someone like Lavar Arrington from the same era. The effort, instincts, speed, and talent difference is notable.

He did tail off instead of improve as a Buckeye; unfortunately, that is on OSU's coaches. They asked him to put on weight and asked him to do too much. Looked at in terms of future NFL'ers, this wasn't such an amazing collection of talent. LBs, DBs, David Boston and not much else.
