Many would agree that Hemant anna is brilliant film maker, but I respect his composure and 'down to earth' attitude more.
He looks so simple, but factually it's very difficult (In my opinion) unless one is prepared to be so.
@KV Sir: Please please please carryout detailed analysis of SSE (A &B) after side-B release. I'm eagarly waiting.
There are brilliant film makers in KFI, but to educate audience around the same is much needed such that these can be cherished.
The only anchor and the only film team that actually talk about the process of making movies. Such a great interview. Can’t wait for them to talk about it again after a few weeks.
This whole interview was thought provoking without even watching a side b movie, because we subconsciously put ourselves in those characters. All thanks to the wonderful and passionate cinema team (sse) and connoisseurs reviewer (kv) sitting there. Every minute nuances of cinema frames were acknowledged by KV and experiences which the SSE team offering was mesmerizing. Conversations were Just like a ping pong match. Further, if you watch this whole interview you don't need another one to stimulate the brain of the audience which then converts into theater footfalls. I'm in the USA and can't wait to see it on prime.
And one request to Galata plus channel as well, if you guys are planning to add a subtitles to the video at later stage please show it as a note in the beginning of the video or something, so that the audience can know whether the subtitles will be added or not. Otherwise people will think that there is no subtitles and they'll dislike your videos.

1.time and again it is said that its the questions that make the conversation impactful,kv proves it everytime,and one can feel how eager these actors and directors are to answer his questions.
2.like how kv mentions it at the flag end of interview,i do this for the audience to get the perspective,these interviews are just SCHOOL for cinema viewers on how to watch a film.

A small side to the whole interview, KV sir I would request you to not ask in a lot of questions that wouldn't lead to reveal of the side b or about any movie. For a long part of the interview it became like a trailer breakdown. I think the appreciating part of the technical aspects can be done in the analysis ones. There could have been a lot of questions that could have talked about how kannada or indian cinema is shaping because of such stories. The idea of having two parts to a love story. How even a movie like can be made profitable. How other side actors of side A added value to the story. I think the Side A interview was much better compared to this one.
I find Kairam comes across as am intellectual and many a times I feel he tries to make it intellectual.
But, BR never does it.. but out put that comes out is moreb organic and profound.
BR must do one with Hemant

Thanks to great artists like Rakshit, Hemant and Rukmini now I can appreciate film making more and call it an art. The chaotic cinema that we are used to feels so lifeless and meaningless at times. But knowing that deep thought and great effort plus a fat pinch of talent goes into a masterpiece is satisfying. Thanks guys for setting a good standard

On the other hand movie like pushpa..where there's nothing but poor imitation on several other movies and some mass dialogues and nothing more than that.. ..apart from some action sequence..where precautions are definitely taken... it speaks a lot about most of the people movie liking actually...!

I feel if side B and side A were one single movie then the story made lot of sense or even if Manu had a newer story atleast in the 2nd half of side B then it would have been a better experience.
Now side B felt like remaining portion of side A which doesn't have enough meat for a whole movie!
