I think these two versions were candidates for their debut and they decided to mixed it up and the result was the o.o we know 😀

The difference between Baila & Superhero is amazing. Baila's whole lyrics & arrangement is complete without it sounding too repetitive meanwhile Superhero part is intended to embody the MIXXTOPIA where everything in that world is full of colors, imagination & fun unknowns hence the choice of words for their lyrics describe it & the arrangement too.
New versions are good but no one will be better than the original

True! The original one was what made me into them because it caught my attention with its unique sound. I'm not a fan of their work so much now because it lost its uniqueness. I hope in the future they,'ll come back with a NMIXX CHANGE UP concept again :)

Yesss though I love Love Me Like This which has a normal structure and appealed to the general public, I still really like their title tracks to have 2 mixes cos it just makes sense with their identity. One concept is not enough for Nmixx so multiple concepts is a need for them in their comeback and I just think they can easily pull it off. I hope we will hear it again from them and hope they will continue to do it in the future 😢
I think most of the reason why their debut was so popular was bcs of how different they sound AND the killing part with that "hard" dance step. I do agree that both new versions are clearer and better, musically talking BUT the og has a type of flavor that we cant find in these
i get that the two other versions of O.O are far better than the original one. but the reason why they made such noise with just their debut is because of their unique sound in k-pop. they won't make as much noise as before if they released these two versions instead. but seeing that they might release these soon, i'm hoping that they get the recognition they deserve.
honestly the original's strength was the mix lmao both songs separately are missing that special something but they pop when combined imo

real, I'm pretty disappointed with this one, especially with how overly cartoony the new parts sound
Fr, but I feel like that's the point of this section. They're in a different world where they imagine different things so the cartoon/comic way of the lyrics & the sound is what they're going for whereas the Baila section is intended to go for the real world they're in hence that's why the baila section has more cohesive arrangement from the intro, pre-chorus, chorus, & bridge.

@@ifu138 I don't think so, it's probably just because it's new to the ears. And it is literally structured like a typical song. Intro-Verse-Prechorus-Chorus-Postchorus-Verse2-Prechorus-Chorus-Postchorus-Bridge-Chorus-Outro. It's not even complex in any way like you want it to be. Cartoony as an adjective isn't even that bad tbh. Plus, it's literally titled Superhero, what do you expect? It's supposed to be upbeat, bubbly, rock and cartoony.
i mean we need something new not just a typical structure of every song like intro+verse1+prechorus+chorus+rap part+pre chorus+chorus+bridge or rap part+last chorus+outro. and this one isn't even that complicated, there are just no prechorus

I hope this doesn't mean they're completely stop doing mixx concepts
With how kpop stans acted, they might drop it & continue on falsely marketing their music by saying its still mixxpop but in reality its just one genre.
tbh i get the concept, and mix concepts can totally work, but the way they did it in O.O was just kinda horrible 💀 they just need to mix more smoothly I think

i think mixx concept is literally the reason why nmixx exists. they might skip some title tracks (dice is mixxed of two songs, lmlt is not) but theyll still continue to do this. dash i believe has a bridge from a diff song (sullyoon-bae-lily lines until no matter harmony)
If nmixx actually did pull a shinee or superm where they release super hero and the first part of the o.o alongside the aired o.o, would you think the situation would've be any different? I'm so curious bout this lol

The transision isnt as good as superm’s song or SHERLOCK (heck that one is a masterpiece).
Dice would get better reception as the transition is better.
@@uc6758the rap part of the dice wasn't even half of a song so I don't think they'll bother to make a new version of dice. I might be wrong if they released a new version of dice, but if u compare superhero to big wave, the length of the song sure is short.

I think they should've released the two versions along with the mixed version during their debut , they would've faced less criticism that way and people would've taken the mixed version as a remix

As someone who hasn’t watched/started during their debut, who criticized their song? Because honestly, the song has such a cool impact apart from it being an ad for Coke Zero. I would understand with Tank but O.O had a cool concept that it baffles me why people hated the beat change so much.

i believe they supposed to have dual concept.. concept N & X.. the O.O we always heard is actually a real 'teaser'.. not just Bae line.. the whole song and MV is actually a teaser for NMIXX concept.. remember during DICE, there have XXIWN account.. i believe that's represent X concept.. maybe a darker concept in the future.. the account suddenly missing now.. TANK, Run For Roses is supposed to be X concept i think, because it's kinda dark.. meanwhile Love Me Like This and Party O'Clock is N concept which is more brighter.. that's why those all song doesn't sound MIXED like O.O (debut version) or DICE.. according to this 'teaser' O.O Baila version is X concept, meanwhile O.O Superhero Version is N concept.. while DICE is MIX..

Both have the same structure, the "zip zap zoom" part as the chorus, knock knock part as the "pre-chorus" if you can call it that, Haewon's part as the bridge
This version and the Baila version would have been big if JYPE just made a same day double release instead of mixing both songs. It would've still coincided with what the group is all about (popmix/genre-bending). NMIXX was so highly anticipated with a very huge hype only to disappointingly come out with a messy debut song. What a shame. Just hoping JYPE would release studio versions of both or it would be another missed opportunity.
