Beautiful truck! 3500, that’s a man’s truck!!! Two things if you’re open for suggestions, 1, have you ever considered doing an 8.1 swap??? That truck is a perfect candidate for it. 2. Have you ever considered putting in step hangars by each door for getting in and out easier. Or some sort of step done to your liking would be beneficial to your seats. That would help from wearing the fabric out and breaking down the foam cushion on the edge of the seats. Only suggestions. It’s a beautiful truck, & love it! Can’t beat the pin striping nor the American Classic wheels you have!🤠
Glad I’m not the only one who had the same idea. Most people take all the moldings off, I’m going back in time. Bullet holes, correct decals and moldings, Same lift, color, mirrors, etc! Beautiful truck man!
It looked good as a dually and it looks good the way you have it now. I used to be a land cruiser guy, but over the past couple years I’ve fallen in love with these obs trucks.
The trucks never been a dually so you make no sense. From the day it was built it always been a single wheel truck. So you aren’t even making sense. Go back to your land cruiser weirdo 😂
I have the same truck but mine is a 98 silverado 3500 454ci Crew Cab Long bed 4x4 dually and it's a 5 speed. I'm currently trying to convert it to SRW since I'm not towing anything and it'll improve my gas mileage. I also believe I have 4.10 gears but not sure. I have a rebuilt T56 6speed with a higher 6th gear than the 5speed so that'll help even more with the mpgs.
I've been hearing that to convert the dually to SRW all you have to do is take the spacer off the front and put it on the back. It'll make the back wheels stick out wider by maybe an inch on either side but that's hardly noticeable unless you walk right up to it. Anyone else heard of this... Just trying to get as much information as possible before I dive right into it.
Love your truck, I just found a 1993 k1500 with only 90000K and no rust (barn find) looking forward to adding some cool upgrades. The Bf goodrich are a classic touch.👍👍
Another question im looking at a 3500 long bed right now and im curious did you have to move the axle up did you have to do any mods at all except the diff? I want to do a short bed conversion
Love this conversion. I didn’t know they made a crew cab short bed. I have a 93 crew cab c3500 2wd diesel and wish it was a short bed. What would you recommend I do? How can I find one of these trucks? I wouldn’t want to cut the frame either. Open to any suggestions. Thank you for this video. Beautiful truck!!!!!
@@projectx4179 I'm considering going with 20x12 with -44 offset and mud tires. I had that setup on my 2015 Silverado 1500 double cab standard bed with a 3/2 lift

I thought that 1999 was the last obs since the 2000 was introduced 1999
But they do build trucks from left over parts
The light duty trucks changed over in '99 , the HDs didn't come out until 2001 . Makes buying replacement parts difficult.

Thank you sir
Oh my lord!! That truck is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Marc Kranenburg thank you sir

The old man pinstriping was a nice touch, and the conversion is goddamn cool
Such a nice truck

I have a 2500 like this. Yours is beautiful. Gives me ideas of what I can do with mine. Mine is pewter. Can’t find a lift on Rough Country website.
Truck is awesome! Nice job!! Is it for sale?
@@FrankLignelli sold it a few years ago

Pull the front spacer you will need to change the rear end and better to find a box
@@projectx4179 my dually fenders are boltons. If I remove the fender should'nt it be fine?
@@projectx4179 so the spacer removed from the front won't go on the back to simplify everything?
@@funguy7979 you will need a box the box sides are different under the dually flairs

I’m not the only one disappointed that he didn’t start it up and let it rumble, am I?

She's clean as hell. Congrats
Good god lad
Clean truck! Awesome build🤙
you didn’t do the “olddd man pinstrip 🙂👍🏽” that comes on some mine has that
you may have REDID it but you didn’t do it my guy
I have a question do the 3500 short bed duallies and the 2500 shortbeds have the same frame thanks
I do believe so I have not noticed anything different
Mines going to look similar once it’s done! Wish it was a crew cab like yours!
Thank you
I thought that kit came with 5" fab block. ? Nice build..
It’s comes with a 4” block for the back I put a 5” one in and turned up the torsion bars so about 7.5” in the front
That truck is very sweet
LMC trucks has replacement seat covers.
Is she level with the 5 inch block
Is she for sale? Beautiful truck !
It’s sold
You convinced me to just find a clean dually and convert...
Do you have to do any frame cutting to short bed convert?
Name of the rims and tires please
Very Nice 👍 Truck
Well done
Do you happen to know the name of the brush guard? It looks perfect on it!!!
I don’t know it was on the truck when I originally bought it sorry
What mpg does this get??
Did you have to cut the frane or did the short bed just fit on it?
No frame modifications at all
@@projectx4179 wow really? So i can just buy a short bed and put it on there?
@@gabrielgomez6898 yes that is correct and buy a rear diff as well
@@projectx4179 wow i did not no that i didnt have to cut the frame now im just gonna look for any 4x4 crew cab short bed or not
I wonder if it was a short bed dully like ford made in the early 2000,s because I would think being a former dully it would be a long bed?
For sale?
Sold it months ago sorry
@@projectx4179 just my luck.

Yes it’s located in Canada

Find a 1999-2000 crew short bed frame would be the easiest
she's beautiful.
Wow
How much did it cost in total American??
What's the offset on the 16x10s ? Asking out of curiosity.
0 offset
