They say brood is weak now due to removing the HP regen in webs in my opinion, and it isn't bothering at all, though her Innate is annoying sometimes as you need to secure a lasthit if you want hp regen, which is a bit annoying with many spiderlings on hand.
Her other facet being HP Degen inside the web is a bit niche though,

Brood is a very Shai-Hulud hero, Frank Herbert would approve.
ive always avoided heroes like BM and Naga bc i dont understand how to control their units without being unable to cast spells too (has like multiple units where BM face is) how do you do it?
waga uses unified unit orders - when he holds alt it will command all units /m
For me, I don't think it's a unique setting but dota remembers your control groups on each hero individually. And double clicking say your spiderlings or illusions etc, just do a quick control group (ctrl+2 for example). Now each time you spawn illusions or units of that type, just hit the number (in the example case press 2) to select them. The best part is it remembers control groups between games so set it up once and you won't have to do so again! It has to be a double click and not a single click to select them mind to do the initial group.
I also like to combo it with some custom options for less micro, so you can set up pressing a key plus right clicking makes you and all units you command attack a unit, or a different key and right click sends only the units you command to attack but keeps your main hero back. Experiment in the options and demo mode, Dota's a fun game with surprising layers of expression on how to do things like this! For instance I have it on most heroes that control group 3 is my courier select, incase I need to path it in a better way or to use the hotkeys on the courier unit itself (haste, invul, return items to base).
The hotkeys I use are select all units, select all other units, select hero only, tab, and for some heroes also control groups. For naga I have 2 illusions on one control group and my hero plus 3rd illusion on another hotkey. For PL I have the tanky W illusion on a control group.
Dota remembers your control groups most of the time, so if you set them up in demo mode, works in game after and also persists after you close the game entirely

my guess is brood has a pretty small mana pool and her summon spiderlings costs a lot of mana relative to said pool, and the kaya item helps with that
I also found that pretty surprising, I would think almost everyone in that situation would have built manta to dispel track and goo. 9k players know something we don't I guess
@@chossmedia i would say it's actually for a simple reason of how the game goes. he had mana problem all game long with the way he play his brood and he don't get pressed enough by both track and goo. if BH and BB were constantly on his ass i bet he would build something for it.
I have arachnophobia, whenever I play agains this hero always have goose bump, or something is crawling under my skin
