9년이 지난 지금, 여전히 방용국이라는 사람을 좋아한다. 중학교 올라갈때 처음으로 좋아한 나의 첫 아이돌. 봉사엔 관심조차 없던 내가, 관심을 가지게 되었고 사회 이슈에 관심이 없던 내가 관심을 가지게 만들어준 사람. 이 사람은 나한테 그냥 아이돌이 아닌, 나의 생활을 바꾸어준 그런 사람이다. 그런 사람이, 행복하면 좋겠고 아무런 고민 없이 잠에 들었으면 좋겠다. 물론 나에겐 행복은 웃음이 아니라, 편안한 상태이기에- 편안한 사람들과 자신의 모습으로 삶을 그려나가면 좋겠다:) 우리가 다시 만나는 그날이 오면, 오빠를 알게된 매순간이 난 행복했다고 말하고 싶어요! 덕분에 편안했고, 지금도 편안하니 행복합니다 오빠도 편안하길! 그리고, 여전히 흑백인 사진 영상들을 보며, 난 여전히 이런 깊이를 가진 오빠를 좋아하구나라는 걸 다시 느꼈어요. 흑백사진이 컬러사진으로 갑자기 변화하는 것보다, 지금 이 흑색에 내가 오빠의 색을 채워나갈 수 있게 해줘서 고마워요. 왜 고마운지 모르지만, 고마워요. 모든 색에 다 어울리는 그런 사람이라.
한 그룹의 리더였을 때도 좋았지만 지금은 아티스트 방용국, 한 사람 방용국이 참 좋네요. 물론, 그 시절이 팬의 입장으로선 그립기도 하지만 하고 싶은 음악을 하며 편안해 보이는 모습이 사람 방용국은 더 멋진 사람이다 라는걸 알게 해주는거 같아요. 당신의 음악, 당신을 응원합니다. 내츄럴 덮 빵....도 너무 좋아요ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ
I don't know if it's because I've been YoungGuk's fan for some time now but watching this doc was like having a long conversation with an old friend. You know, the ones that make you think "this was a good evening, I'm glad we decided to catch up". It is so personable, relatable and just human, not marketing BS. When you struggle with depression and especially to the degree BYG seemed to at one point, it must be terrifying to go solo and make an album about that struggle so frankly and publicly. It seems mental health is a taboo subject in many Eastern Asian countries and the pressure on artist image in the K music industry is huge. Bigger than in the US, which is a "chew you up and spit you out" machine. So, in a sea of glossy teeny-bopper idol groups, especially as an older artist, it's a ballsy move. Which honestly just goes to show how strong he is - I think we all hope he realizes that! I've always seen him as 2 sides of a coin, there's the fierce stage rapper persona with the serious lyrics and the sex appeal (I don't even know if he realizes how much of it he's got when he's on stage!) and then there's the guy locked up in his studio, shying away from the world or the goofball drinking with his friends. It's crazy to me that such opposite sides can be in 1 person. I'm really hoping that now that he's returned from military service he'll continue breaking his industry's mold and gaining recognition and new fans that appreciate him for his solo work beyond BAP. I've been really enjoying his collabs with Sleepy, the tracks are fire.

For me your voice is so soothing, that it makes me fall asleep, it eases my pain and bring me so much peace to the point I can finally fall asleep. It’s been like this for years now. I’m still struggling and it’s very painful, but I’m doing my best, I always think that if you could do it, I can too. Yongguk has been my bias since 2011 and while watching this I realized I'm actually falling in love with him all over again. This human being is too precious for this world, his thoughts really are something else
Codex Gigas is on my absolute favorite songs that he has ever put out. It is so hauntingly beautiful!! This man is so unique and out of this world. I’m so glad he lets us get to see a little bit of his world and thought process. Always wishing the best for him!!
In this episode, I like that we get to see behind the scenes of the creation of multiple tracks. Each song had it's own difficulties that Yongguk and team worked through to create a well-produced end product. Although it is a lot of hard work and dedication, we are shown Yongguk's passion for music. He makes music for his own expression. That makes me appreciate his words even more. It was great seeing the unwind side of Yongguk; having fun and dancing as he records! It really shows how bright he is (and how handsome his smile is ☺️)! It is understandable that listening to the songs from this album may be a little difficult for him as they are a diary of his own trials and tribulations. However, I am happy Yongguk has shared these feelings in his music because there are others in this world who may have similar feelings and gains a bit of solitude knowing that someone else understands what they are going through. It can be destigmatizing as well. Also, it can inspire others to express their emotions in a safe way such as through art, music, etc. All in all, episode 4 was just as interesting as the previous episodes. I cry, i laugh, i get sad... it's a whole ass rollercoaster xD I really have no words to describe how proud i am of this man, how happy i am for this man, how blessed i am to have this man in my live, for him to be alive.. i dont even believe in God or any other entity, but i feel so blessed for him being alive and being in my life.
Finally I can watch ep 3. Personally, that's why I loved about the album,the pure Honesty. Each song conveys and brings about so much emotions and has so much impact on the listener. I finally got around to watching this after driving up to Seattle (picking up my nieces to bring back home to Cali). I’ve always loved seeing the process of songwriting and composing and so seeing this was really therapeutic. Also, I cannot get over how handsome Yongguk is. 😩💕

As someone that also uses art as a release for darker emotions, I totally get what Yongguk means by that feeling of satisfaction and disgust when you look back on it. But that revitalization of those thoughts is because you were able to put emotion into the work you made. I think the purpose of art - real art- is to make people feel; it doesn’t have to be good feelings. Art is there to immortalize the experience of being human and I think Yongguk puts his soul into everything he makes. It’s beautiful because it’s human and we like to be reminded we’re all on a journey: a big beautiful fucked up journey
Bang Young Guk has always been a true artist. He has a vision that is unparalleled to many other artists. Gosh, I miss BAP so much. I wish they would do a comeback. I'm just glad we can get to see them doing individual projects.

I really enjoy seeing the process of creating the album, it's really impactful, raw and caothic, like many other art processes. Probably that's the reason I find it so fun to watch. I also like how Bang Yongguk join strengths with his friends and team to create really great music and his own style. As someone that also uses art as a release for darker emotions, I totally get what Yongguk means by that feeling of satisfaction and disgust when you look back on it. But that revitalization of those thoughts is because you were able to put emotion into the work you made. I think the purpose of art - real art- is to make people feel; it doesn’t have to be good feelings. Art is there to immortalize the experience of being human and I think Yongguk puts his soul into everything he makes. It’s beautiful because it’s human and we like to be reminded we’re all on a journey: a big beautiful fucked up journey
Bang Young Guk has always been a true artist. He has a vision that is unparalleled to many other artists. Gosh, I miss BAP so much. I wish they would do a comeback. I'm just glad we can get to see them doing individual projects.

I love these series so much. It is so healthy showing the public what people like Yongguk go through. Literally the best promotional documentary there is.
I've just finished watching all three episodes.. first of all, my heart goes out to you, Yongguk love ,_,♥️ I hope you know that you are loved and appreciated, and even though you may sense a truth that says otherwise or you feel misunderstood at times, you're never alone in that darkness you feel. thank you so much for opening up like this and sharing your mind and your journey. I really enjoy seeing the process of creating the album, it's really impactful, raw and caothic, like many other art processes. Probably that's the reason I find it so fun to watch. I also like how Bang Yongguk join strengths with his friends and team to create really great music and his own style. I'm looking foward to watching the next episodes as well as listening to his new music when he feels ready to share with us.
