I just bought that TZ10 (Hongkong No. S7. To speak clearly, I had seen too much videos in youtube and make myself cracy. Cameras with similar price with same functions such as Sony HX5V (Cmos) and this S7 is CCD sensor. I kept a Canon S30 eversince 2002. It works very nice, no breakdown. Because I prefer HD movies I made a mistake to buy this one. At first I wanted to get the Sony. Because youtube people vs this with sony, I think it is better. I still testing
@tamyk007 hi tamy007, I believe most digital cameras (except for DSLR) have problem with visual noise, the problem is how much. The review of TZ10 at photography.blog shows samples of night pictures but with minimal noise and compared to others of its class not bad at all. It depends on your expectations, tamy.Why don't you upload photos you've taken in macro, landscape, lowlight, etc. and share with us how it fares. cheers.
How long (minutes) can you film with HD before the accu runs out? And how much megabyte does 1min or 5 min take? Thank you for uploading! Hope someon can help me!:)
@MrAkihiros Yes, now, I find it is up to my standard and wishes.The only problem it does not work nice in night. I think Sony is best in night shoot. But, as far as I know, it (Sony) is plastic stuff.
The TZ10 has been available in Germany since the end of January 2010.

Just recorded 29:59 minutes with mine, was not fully charged but I started filming with 3 bars left. At the end there were 2 bars left.
