And then I fell back in love with it when I head the cover of Natalie Taylor and I cried during my breakup with my narcissistic abuser. I've heard this song probably more than anyone in the world, one of my favorites of all time obviously. up until this cover, I never took the line "I just want you to know who I am" so seriously. But I had a son who just turned one and I sing him to sleep with that one line over and over again. my biggest fear is not being alive to see him grow, and him not knowing who is father is. I just want him to know who I am.
