Amusingly, Verdant makes or breaks this clear. Zuo Le's initial deployment is needed to block Miasmas, but he will not grab the northern flies, so they'll latch into Indigo instead. There are two solutions: 1) deploy Corroserum after Eunectes instead of Indigo, thereby costing me crucial damage (an entire skill cycle!) against the boss or... 2) Verdant. It's a little frustrating because all he contributes is drawing aggro and the occasional blocking. Alas.
Also, Zuo Le wasn't supposed to die at 3:09. He usually can get a second S2 off before dying, but as you can see, it ultimately didn't matter.
Overall, I really liked this event! It's fairly DP friendly (great for me because I don't have a vanguard) and medic friendly. Obviously, the debut of Zuo Le is huge, a character I have been anticipating for years. But the music and stage designs are really neat. Almost every EX and S stage felt like an intricate puzzle to solve with my snakes, which was thrilling!
