For the people where Mod Engine 2 refuses to start up to begin with: just put the whole Mod Engine 2 folder inside the Elden Ring folder, so that the Mod Engine Launcher EXE is where the Elden Ring EXE is(and of course change the directory in the config to match it) ...that way it loaded up for me by simply launching the Mod Engine Launcher...

UPDATE - GRACEBORNE WORKING WITH 1.13 guide : th-cam.com/video/FPuMKtBJaYk/w-d-xo.html I just now realize graceborne finally got updated , to work with 1.12 I have yet to gone home or read on this , so THIS METHOD MAY NOT BE NEEEDED since we don’t need to downgrade nor does he apply the usage of “ script_data_exposer” for this new update , if needed I’ll make a new tutorial for 1.12 if people still have issues, but haven’t been home in 5 days so i can’t tell you much since I haven’t checked or read the mod new information. Hopefully it’s easier LOL if you prefer 1.10 the depot for it is in my description since it won’t be on the page anymore since it is not needed. Just spawn at first step and walk there, its super close. this is an issue I have. If you somehow stuck there, only thing i can think of is just create new character. And avoid that grace YOU CAN SIT ON IT just dont fast travel to it instead go to " first step " grace. In the comments some people had this it maybe have solutions in the replies. Sometimes this is 100% a mess up from your downloads or you missing something. Could be an issue with the two depots you downloaded which may need a redownload and to be drag to game folder BOTH of them. Perhaps you didn’t download the hotfix file you get from graceborne “ files “ it has a “ msg “ folder and a “ regulation bin “ file. Could be that, just throwing ideas but main problem I’ll say is : Did you move all your files from the two depot folders you downloaded into the game folder of elden ring it will overwrite some files in game folder if not you missed the whole point of doing this. depot files is how you get the 1.10 version go back in video if you dont know what im saying and get this done. { TO CHECK THIS INFO : menu screen right side should show what version you on when you use offline launcher or mod engine to launch }, possible issues like this can cause it, if THIS ISNT the problem and u are positive you on 1.10 , let me know I’m not sure what else can cause that text missing and stuff. I have no experience but helped someone solve it based on them going from 1.12 to 1.10. GETTING ?MENUTEXT? GR_MESSAGE ERROR ? if you use a different language , just change your elden ring game to english this might be the issue as i have solved this for others by having them do this. !!!!!!!! IF GETTING GAME AND SAVE DATA NOT MATCHING ERROR !!!!!!! READ THIS CAREFULLY. common mistake. The problem is your save data or game version are not 1.10. Checklist to fix this common issue and common mistake: 1 : Did you move all your files from the two depot folders you downloaded into the game folder of elden ring it will overwrite some files in game folder if not you missed the whole point of doing this. depot is how you get the 1.10 version go back in video if you dont know what im saying and get this done. 2 : After you know you done step 1 , Go to local c drive > users > your username > appdata > roaming > elden ring 3 : you should now see a folder with alot of numbers as a name for an EXAMPLE : 18654832649832 4 : Click inside this folder and copy any files that is in it 5 : make a folder somewhere else named as " elden ring original save files " and paste that damn thing you copied in step 4 in it for safe keeping you will need this to play on your characters if you play seamless or regular moddless elden ring thats up to date + dlc 6 : After this is saved safely, GO BACK TO step 2. Inside the folder you see labeled as numbers, YOU WANT TO NOW REMOVE ALL THE FILES in it that you backed up and saved elsewhere from step 4 & 5. 7 : Now theres no save files inside the numbers folder, Launch " offline mode " which you get from anti cheat toggler & offline launcher on nexusmod , link is in description. This should be moved into your GAME FOLDER already once you did it if not, to find your game folder , go on steam , right click elden ring > properties > Installed files > Browse click elden ring, this is your GAME FILES where the anti cheat and offline mode should be along with your game files. 8 : The game elden ring should pop up, accept any prompt that pops up, you will be shown OFFLINE automatically due to offline mode. as it is intended. As long as you can see the menu with no errors look at the right side of the screen and make sure it says OFFLINE and the version as 1.10 if you for some reason get " save data corrupted " error here go to step 12. 9 : Once you can see and confirm that you can see menu and see offline and 1.10 with no errors, CLOSE game. 10 : Now go to mod engine folder that you install which should be in the same drive as your game and click launchmod_eldenring.bat. 11 : you should now see graceborne intro and title launched. your error of " save data and match data is not matching " should not appear anymore. if it does, no idea what in the world happened because this is the fix. 12 : if you get a new error saying " save data is corrupted " do these steps to get pass it th-cam.com/video/EbPBPU-hWcU/w-d-xo.html I have explained this in the tutorial video but this is a better visual for this fix and instead of using steam like i did at first , i use the offline mode which is easier for most in the newer video. you may or may not have to repeat the steps of removing in step 6. but the issue now is usually solved in the video that includes the regulation.bin file restoring. if anything comment or dm discord LadySheik for help. SAFE TO REMOVE MODS N GO BACK ONLINE ??? If you remove mods and your graceborne save files after backing it up and replacing it with the original game and save files. Yes I do it all the time PLEASE KNOW HOW TO. I try my best to explain below. AGAIN Don’t forget your save files. Since it will contain MODDED stuff most likely. BACK / SAVE EVERYTHING UP AKA MERGING TO MOD AND BACK TO ORIGINAL WITH DLC: There’s probably a mod to swap files better. If so , make sure mod engine and Elden ring exe is in same HardDriveDisk, some people even put the mod engine folder where Elden ring exe is installed in , make sure steam is running in the background. But if it’s anything else provide more details so Ik what u actually mean but I assume u mean launch mod Elden ring and nothing is showing up or loads or crashes , bc usually I know it crashes for ppl or they get a black screen that’s stuck, I provide some info but hard to tell what really works since I never had this and it isn’t as common compare to other issues, lmk if anything worked or if it still occurring
I was suffering from the same problem as everyone else and my solution was a little more complicated since I completely reinstall Elden ring. if your really want to play this mod no matter what and wiling to try what I did go for it but it probably wont work for everyone. I made a backup to my saves and then I deleted the Elden ring folder in %appdata%. I went to steam deleted Elden ring and then reinstall it so I made sure I had all the base game files and downgrade the game to 1.10 Next install toggle anti cheat and put everything in the game folder. I then loaded up start game in offline mode. MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE A ELDEN RING FOLDER IN %appdata% so when the game loads up it'll make a save for 1.10. if your start in offline mode Elden ring loads up and your able to see the game version 1.10 or 1.10.1 on the bottom right and not load up to a error then that's good! Next follow all the steps in downloading the mod in the video. Make sure you downloaded the hotfix and change the regulation bin. Only thing I did different is I moved the Modmanager 2 folder to my Elden ring folder and then I change the Config_eldenring. After doing all types of solutions for hours this is the one that solved it Good luck.
I may be stupid but youre saying that one of the ways to fix save's problem you have to launch game via steam, but if you do that your steam will try to update the game cause you are on version 1.10 What i did was toggle anti cheat as you said, but then just launched original game using file "Start_game_in_offline_mode" and after i did that my graceborn version also started working properly and i finally fixed save's after bashing in my head into wall for 3hrs at least
LOL sorry i tried my best to explainnnn, But i think any way like that works as long as you are offline when you start the original game, my steam doesnt update since i have it disable which is why i did it that way but the way you did it is just as same i honestly didnt even realize until few hours ago about the start game offline.
@@LadySheik May i ask about another issue maybe youve seen someone else asking about it, after installing graceborn mod both original and modded game now dont have any sound at all, like no sound everywhere, and ive never had this problem before, im so lost rn
@@admiralvolodya1443 I only known that when i play some sounds are lost like some enemies make zero noise and stuff , it could be the mods custom sounds, because graceborne is LOUD AF so if you not hearing anything maybe what you can try , removing the custom sounds n going back to original sounds. From the source: "Sound modding is extremely unstable. If you experience crashes upon loading into the world or that several sounds from different sources (mostly enemies) are missing, displace the sd folder inside your mod folder somewhere else or change its name, so as the custom sound banks don't get loaded. However this means you would not be able to have custom sounds." But now rereading what you wrote, you not having sounds for the original game too , oh i have no idea. i only experience graceborne losing sounds on enemies. I switch all the time and havent experience that , havent found anything else either besides what the author wrote for graceborne when it comes to sounds

Actually got the mod to semi work. The text for my game is completely messed up though. For example my stuff keeps saying something like "?Menu Text?". anyone know the issue?
@@Mui-Edits I seen people mention this did you use the mod description depot ? Did you download the hot fix in for graceborne in their file ? Are u on 1.10 version of Elden ring ? One of these have to be a fix I usually believe it’s the version of the game since mod can work on 1.12 but it is MEANT for 1.10 until further notice
@@LadySheik I did use the mod description depot and I did download the hotfix, but I wasn’t sure what to do with the hot fix. And my version of Elden ring I am unsure of. When the text started acting off I went back into my game folder and verified my folder, but now my Elden Ring started a forced update. I am sorry if I am not very descriptive about this, it’s my first time trying to mod something this big. I am currently waiting for the game to stop updating because I can’t start the game until it is done.
@@Mui-Edits I can’t remember what u need the hot box or if we have to move it somewhere , but I do know the regulation bin file was in there which is a step you have to do, just making sure u done the basics something’s can be over looked I can’t tell what went wrong since I didn’t watch you do it. You can’t verify or use steam unless you disable updates completely for ER. Other wise use offline launcher to know for sure the game can load. I have stated to always back up your files literally ALL of them even the graceborne. So you can always just move them around n replace if needed. If the game updates you may have to depot unless you backup the folder to save you the time. Sorry if it’s confusing since I know it’s your first which is why I have my guide long and have essays of descriptions 😂 we will figure it out
@@Mui-Edits as for now when you load up the mod thru engine and see the version when you can , everything is in description or pinned comment on here that’s common,make sure the screen says 1.10 on the right of the menu screen, see if that fix the text issues either way you gtta use it on 1.10 until the author for graceborne updates , it’s just my theory but I need to know you have the right before I say anything else lol
@@LadySheik I backed up my original Elden ring file but I didn’t back up the graceborne file. The game is updating a whole damn 50G’s so does that mean I’ll have to do the depot again? If there was a way to show my screen n shit I would.
yes this is what the " depot " on steam console do, just have to drag those files you downloaded to game files. But yeah the mod only works on 1.10, if u just want the moves or weapons , im not sure if they work on 1.12 gotta check for that but for this whole new bloodborne version{ graceborne } of elden ring from this author with like new bosses n areas basically " a new experience of elden ring as a whole " , yes only 1.10 for now works for it :]
Whenever I get to the graceborne loading screen it says “Failed to save game. Save data is corrupted. Select ok to try again” is there a way to fix this. Sorry if it was explained in the video I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to this stuff.
Wish I knew honestly, make sure elden ring isnt running in the background in task manager if you opened up before. sometimes a reboot of the pc can help. as of now No clue why it wont even launch for you, im sure u have but if u havent just make sure you did everything. Make sure the mod engine that has " launchmod elden ring " file you speak of is in the SAME harddrive or SSD where your elden ring is installed. so if elden ring is on a " X drive " have your mod engine and etc somewhere on the " X drive ". Lmk if anything changes
@@LadySheik hmm tried restarting but still same issue. I think it might be related that I have 2 installs of elden ring even if they are on different SSDs hmm does the bat just search the same drive for an eldenring.exe or it looks in registry for the installation path I wonder.
@@Kaladrel I think it searches for the game in the same drive, which is why i said make sure its in the same drive. I have original elden ring in the same drive and my graceborne. Just retrace your steps im not sure what else it can be. Make sure you did everything because even when i messed up with the notepad part, Launchingmod still loaded for me it just wasnt graceborne instead it was just regular elden ringsince i didnt type out my path correctly in the notepad. so has to be something missing somewhere since even if it was wrong you should still see the launch. im sorry i havent heard on this yet :x
@@NotNanachi Just make sure your notepad you edit it correct path to the exact including all the / you pasted has two // each one has two // , also make sure that mod engine folder is also in the same hard drive as your Elden ring Game folder ( from steam ) sorry if it’s obvious but this is an odd one and just making sure if it doesn’t work atleast u got these right, I haven’t heard anything else about it not launching unfortunately 😫 I just feel like it trying to find the Elden ring game
@@rowellbeast make sure u have space , it downloads wherever you have steam installed in it happened to me I saw just red messages of it failing until I have steam moved into another hard drive with more then 50-70gb available and it worked

@@RetroCryo on steam u have to go to settings and installed games I believe sorry not on my pc until after weekend but you can find the games u have in ur disk and u have the option to move it to another drive, u may have to add your hard drive you want to move it in if u never have it identify and created folders from steam. Everything for this is in the settings so u don’t rlly have to do anything else just add your drive if u haven’t n move your game to the drive u want n it will show a bar to show its progress and when it’s done
So i did every single step correctly but didn't work and i also deleted everything and did it all over again and still didn't work. all im getting is a white screen once i load up the game
@@bojaber570 pinned comment may have info on that, some times people launch it and it crashes , some people get white or black screen, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work usually it’s mod engine trying to find Elden ring, please read pinned to see what most people said were fixes. Make sure your same hard drive has mod engine and Elden ring in it , n if none of that works whatever else I wrote in there , someone said something about moving their mod engine folder into their Elden ring exe help them. its fixable.

Info in pinned under your issue but I think this is for when it’s stuck on black screen, but regardless lmk if the fixes in pinned helped for it so I’m aware it actually helps since I usually through guesses of possibility
sorry , are you speaking about the save files ?? anything inside the folder that is named after alot of numbers, you want to save whatever is inside somewhere else and remove it after you have it somewhere else. as inside that numbers folder it should be empty after. so everything in it you save somewhere else. if you not speaking about this just tell me where or what it is you copying n pasting to another folder , i tend to back up and save alot of things so not sure which u mean :] i noticed now u said game folder, just tell me the timestamp if still confused so i know exactly what part u speak of.

@@0_ohmuhgod299 ohhh this is the game files so before you do the whole video I was just saying u can back up EVERYTHING in That game file, you don’t have to it’s just how I go from graceborne back to Elden ring with the dlc easier without having to update the game again or remove folders I have a video explaining why I do this but again u don’t have to it takes up more space but it’s just to make life bit easier, so up to u if u want to back up and save your UPTODATE game files of Elden ring somewhere else usually in the same hard drive that way you can come get it back when u done with graceborne again there’s a video I posted recently on what I mean by that n why I do that but it’s not needed it’s only if u wanna do what I do to switch back and forth. Video is called something like “ switching from graceborne 1.10 to Elden ring 1.12 and play online again “
Again that is all to switch back to regular game easier, if not , you can just update your game after you swap your graceborne save files out and put ur original save files in , and take out all the folders n files of graceborne out from your game files and update the game from steam , but because I backed up my game files in the same hard drive , all I do is just move game files folder to folder and I can switch to whatever game version I want in 3 minutes while also swapping my save files for the version I need. It was just easier for me since I do go online a lot and also like to play modded graceborne if and WHEN graceborne works with mod engine better like other mods or when it works for 1.12 it wont be needed as much :) it’s only bc the game is 1.10 n when switch to dlc n online u have to be on 1.12 and make sure game n save files don’t have any modded files or folders
I still get the save file error even when i use "start game in offline mode" and renaming the regulation.bin to regulationBACKUP.bin and getting the regulation.bin from the mod and removing it and changing the BACKUP back to its original name regulation.bin - even getting that message when I start ER from steam now
THIS FIXED IT FOR ME - " also make sure you back up and save your save files somewhere safe { located in your local c drive > users > your username > appdata > roaming > elden ring either remove folder or remove the E000.2l or whatever file thats in it after you save it somewhere else } that could be the reason and then try these steps again. regulation.bin is the problem here but its also if you have original save files still in ur local c drive which the one i said to remove. i believe starting the game offline without mods with the 1.10 version of elden ring somehow creates a new save folder for 1.10. thats all its suppose to do to fix this issue also with the whole regulation.bin process of moving the modded one and changing the original name as in video should fix it. lmk if anything" THANK YOU!!!
@@glenn6284 the console gives no progress bar. As soon as it's finished downloading you'll get a notification. You can check your task manager and the network tab to check if Steam is still downloading :)

@@DF.A.B.L.E. make sure you have the notepad part correct, the right path to where that file I mention is and have a dash on all the / you see as in // they should have two dashes in the path you paste on the notepad in there. When I loaded mod engine for the game I didn’t see graceborne at first until I corrected my notepad
Hey, so once I get to the Download reshade and "select present to install". I couldn't find the GRACEBORNE.ini . I'm not sure if its the "GRACEBORNE" configuration settings or im missing something.
@@teb3901 I could be mistaken since this video was a walkthrough through my memory of what I did lol but I think maybe graceborne works just fine , I suppose the graceborne.ini gets drag in folders so I probably got it mixed up :x
can someone help me, when I launch the game it says "the game version and save data version are different Quit the game and use the steam client update game data to the latest version before trying again"

@@blizic1721 make sure you put all your firearms the pistols , into your chest by sitting on a lamp (grace / bonfire ) n putting it in. Even if it’s on your character inventory it will crash. This is a known issue the author stated. Also be careful fast traveling to church of Elle where the merchants r sometimes that can crash or worst get u stuck . So I usually go to First Step Grace and walk there since it’s super close ^_^ but yes u can’t upgrade firearms so need it in ur chest if u going to upgrade other weapons
@@n4hz98 yeah this issue idk what it is that causes that, I don’t have it to try n fix it. I always thought it was because you guys have wrong version but it’s not always the case, post on graceborne page to see if anyone knows I have yet heard a real other solution if the version is correct, but probably somehow something is missing 😔 hope you figure it out I’ll return if I find anything, please report back if you fix it and say how u did it
@@connorevanscaygill2122 it’s an easy fix I’m telling you lol there’s a video in pinned named “ save data corruption solution “ or something of a sort , thats the SOLUTION it, it’s the only way to fix it I explain it better and show it better in that video and it’s a quick 3 minute fix BUT !!!!! before u do that fix in the pinned comment video , make SURE you backed up ur original saves and then remove it in the local c drive , the folders that is named with numbers make sure all the saves in it is removed after u copy n paste it somewhere for safety before u do the video step i promise u it’s super easy lol everything is in the pinned comment even on this video and the other video, just gotta make sure there’s no save files at all when u doing the regulation bin file swap that I explained in the next video. @@BIGSMOKE-5AM uh this is outdated but even with the update version that works with 1.12 I have this issue I haven’t tried to fix it . But when I used 1.10 version of the mod and Elden ring I did have the music and sound of graceborne. But like I said this is outdated so I’m not sure anymore but the 1.12.3 I have the Elden ring sounds.
Am I the only person who managed to load the mod, but when creating a new character the different classes are the vanilla classes and not the modded ones (normal weapons, normal gear etc) any help?
@@thegamingsection821 you not the only one I seen this reported few times I’m not what u did wrong , you transfer the depot files right to your game files to overwrite the updated one , to make sure it’s 1.10 on the menu? Have u downloaded the “ hotfix “ file in the graceborne files it’s on optional? And got the right regulation bin file that’s modded ? I feel like the mod was incorrectly downloaded probably,so make sure u got it all even the reshade, I unfortunately don’t know the correct solution to this but few people have this issue, maybe try to reload the mods in with Elden ring exe file is. It’s just something not loaded in or done 100% because I never got this issue and most issues I solved is due to a missed step or wrong version somehow. If u ever figure it out it will be much appreciated if u say what u did so I can update my pinned comment for the actual solution , hope u figure it out !!!
@@cantandwont6636 sorry confused , I believe the mod now works with 1.12 I have yet to look into it but I seen they have updated graceborne , to update the regular game u just swap the whole modded files out I have a video on how I swap from original to modded on channel if maybe that’s what u mean, but this was for 1.10 graceborne. But same should apply anytime the mod is outdated in the future I just back it up somewhere and swap folders.
Having trouble getting into the game it loads up and still gives me save data corrupted error. Ive moved the bin files around renamed them nothing worked so far pls help.
@@heartrech2477 did you check out the other video in pinned comment? Ik u said u move the files around but sometimes things can be missed lol did u remove the save data in your local c drive ? And backup ur saves n remove either folder or the file inside it ? I tried launching steam after disabling updates but using offline launcher is better. You most likely just need to fix that regulation file or remove save data that’s the only thing I’m aware of to fix, sorry If I’m saying the obvious just can’t always tell what went wrong since I don’t know everything u did lol but you are close that’s the main issue we all had at first. For any issue like this it just seems to be the regulation bin file , and then need to launch the game without the mods with offline mode in whichever way works for u , so it can create data on it since it’s also an older version which removing saves files can probly help with that. Then trying to make sure offline mode starts normal with no mods n error, and then do the regulation file stuff.
when i launch the game everythings working for me, except for the weapons and class ect.. i have the basic stuff like the original game and i have no clue how to fix this
Hard to help when I never had the issue or read on it much , Have you downgraded your game as in you see it 1.10 when you load up on the bottom right corner of the menu ? i know someone else tried it on 1.12 with the dlc update and they were unable to see weapons and classes i believe. This mod only works at the moment on 1.10, updates will be loaded soon. so only thing Im aware of when it comes to this if you did everything right and downloaded all thats needed. thats my only guess :x
damn , honestly i dont think so, but hey if anything if you can , you can get a harddrive for like 60 bucks if u in US on ebay or amazon , doesnt have to be a SSD , but i ususally buy Harddrives and just connect it thru usb for some games. Overall you should atleast have some back up harddrives that way you can put games and other stuff elsewhere and let your c drive breathe :]
@@sa2_577 I’m just confirming , this tutorial is outdated it is only for 1.10 version of the game if you want the new updated graceborne that works with 1.12 , I have a video for it in my channel. Shiiii idk about that one LOL Havent seen anything on that yet buttttttt maybe just maybe try " Sound modding is extremely unstable. If you experience crashes upon loading into the world or that several sounds from different sources (mostly enemies) are missing, displace the sd folder inside your mod folder somewhere else or change its name, so as the custom sound banks don't get loaded. However this means you would not be able to have custom sounds. " not sure if thats relatable but meh u just changing the folder name or putting it somewhere else, so whats the harm on trying. only suggesting it bc it apparently " can crash on loading world " but im assuming you cant get to the menu at all. reset that whole pc LOL something aint right if i hear anything else ill come back to this.
i followed this and the main screen worked but it said something about saved game data not matching so i tried fixing it using ur guide and now its jujst the normal elden ring when i launch the game

If u had it working but had the save data corruption I do have a video for that pinned here which shows it better than this tutorial, if it’s the game data n save data not matching I believe you may have to remove your saves if u have them and make sure game on 1.10 n then try the steps in the video pinned it shouldn’t load up regular if using mod engine though 🤔
If it doesn’t load up the mods something went wrong tho, I never changed my files in tutorial to remove it or anything, even for the “ fix of save data issue “ the mods always stayed in the folder , disable steam updates if u opened from steam , use offline launcher instead for the regulation bin file also which is in the other short video just for the save data issue. Just lmk if anything changes
@@divra7758 okay I believe the new version of graceborne to work with 1.12 might not need some of these steps ? This is what worked and was given to us for the 1.10 version I believe they made it simpler now, I haven’t updated yet so can’t confirm but I see in their description they removed the step for installation that used script data exposed
So unless u really want the 1.10 version I’ll have to find or get the file of the script data , but if not just get the new update and try to follow directions which took out two steps from the 1.10 which was downgrading and the script file. So might be easier I’ll probably do a tutorial for the update for those still confused once I update it myself
i tried turobleshootoing for hours and im just not getting the character and the npc shop to appear for me is anyone else having that problem the monsters are what they should be just my character is still elden ring base character like hero class and the npc that sells the bloodborne weapons is textureless and dont sell anything

@@LadySheik Yeh, as soon as I open the game it gives me random letters and a code at the end. I used the console to downgrade the game to 1.10, unfortunately it got corrupted after trying to fix it so I'll have to download the game & downgrade again. welppp, did you downgrade ? to 1.10 like on menu does it say 1.10 version? also did you also downloaded the " hot fix " in graceborne mod page files in nexas mod. I didnt have this issue BUT i have try to tell people this and havent heard back whether it fixed it or if they have this for sure, since 1.12 doesnt work well with graceborne but can load. just not the items apparently. Its not updated yet for the dlc. and also the hot fix im not sure im guessing based on the description that it says " fixes some texts " so taking a guess here, please lmk if u did this or if anything got fixed or if it didnt lol ^_^
but over all some weapons wont have icons but it will say the name if anything u will see the " no icon " image for it, while maybe like 7 or so you can see the image of. but if u cant see ANY of them at all yeah try the above message i posted to u ^_^

As of right now I’m not sure on this , please try to look up on Google or even Reddit sometimes other mods for Elden ring have this issue maybe a solution will be there and see whatever they did you can fix even with this mod or atleast with mod engine , I believe it’s a mod engine thing tho . if u can load up the game offline mode regularly it has to be an issue with mod engine so look into that

I can launch the game fine, I get the bloodborne title screen, but when I try to press play it says "The game version and save data version are different. Have you tried removing your save data and backing it up somewhere else in your local C drive ? also once you done these If you haven’t looked on my pinned comment, there’s another short video what to do next , it might have been done but this is the only thing I’m aware to fix this, it’s either your game or a save data that has to be altered , let me know, sorry if i have said the obvious or things you double check just making sure ^_^
@@LadySheik I fixed it but thanks for the help! I accidentally copied my save and I didn't move it, that was what caused the issue. After that I then had the error with the save files where you video helped again!

@@Thewlieee I seen this error a lot and like I’m not sure what it is if you do have the 1.10 version , something went wrong I just can’t point it out since I never saw it to try n fix it. For the time being no DLC is needed so you will be downgrading elden ring to an older version { which is the whole steam console nonsense with the depot numbers } The author is working on making it work with the updated version of elden ring + the dlc once thats done you can play with dlc if desired.

wait you saying you getting an error in red texts in the steam console when trying to do the depot? I cant remember the exact words all i know it failed on me before , Did you check if you have enough space for 50GB and few more just incase? only time i seen it fail for me on depot. steam console depots go where your steam is installed in, if you have a harddrive with more space , try and move your steam folder or files to that harddrive and try again with the depot. if this isnt what you mean , explain more :X lol illl try my best to figure it out.

mmm strange, i made evrething well, and the problem still on my game, i think that can be usefull share a savedata pack without any game created, only with the data generated by the game in the first startup
If you know a way I can do that , I will, I always thought of just zipping up my file from the start and just having people download it in someway and all you have to do was just drag n drop along with a fresh save that you can drop in your local c drive, not sure if its easy or doable but jeez this was alot to do lol. @@LadySheik error with the save data, and yes if you can share your save data with us I think it can fix our problems , because I don't know how but I'm trying in two devices my desktop and my rog ally and I made a mistake in the desktop , I did run my game without the mod only with the version downgraded , and I created a game to try the version and then when I run the game in the rog ally with the mod it was sync with the save data of the desktop, and in that moment the error was fixed buuut when I try to create a new game and select the class ,the game keeps in the loading screen, that's the reason because I think that with a save data generated with the mod installed should fix this problem

are you trying to find the regulation.bin file ? if so, it should be the " hot fix file " under the 'update files' in the graceborne nexusmod page. i just reinstall it to see and its in there also i just used github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases the one that says " ModEngine- 2.1.0.0-win64 . zip "

Having a really big problem with saves, do i need the saves from the 1.10 that i reverted back to? Ive tried clearing out the save folder and adding my back up saves back in but its always "Your save data is corrupted" or "your game version and save data version is different"
No, Not yet :] to get everything working you need to downgrade to 1.10 elden ring. The author is currently working on a way to make it possible to work with dlc and updated elden ring.

For the people where Mod Engine 2 refuses to start up to begin with: just put the whole Mod Engine 2 folder inside the Elden Ring folder, so that the Mod Engine Launcher EXE is where the Elden Ring EXE is(and of course change the directory in the config to match it) ...that way it loaded up for me by simply launching the Mod Engine Launcher...
Just beat the DLC, but all the other games make me want Bloodborne again anyway, gonna do this when I'm sober. NYC represent!

I just now realize graceborne finally got updated , to work with 1.12 I have yet to gone home or read on this , so THIS METHOD MAY NOT BE NEEEDED since we don’t need to downgrade nor does he apply the usage of “ script_data_exposer” for this new update , if needed I’ll make a new tutorial for 1.12 if people still have issues, but haven’t been home in 5 days so i can’t tell you much since I haven’t checked or read the mod new information. Hopefully it’s easier LOL if you prefer 1.10 the depot for it is in my description since it won’t be on the page anymore since it is not needed. Like I said u don’t need this video to downgrade this is only because it was outdated and only worked on 1.10.

I never had this issue so im throwing some guesses. until someone tell me what works. In the comments some people had this it maybe have solutions in the replies.
Sometimes this is 100% a mess up from your downloads or you missing something. Could be an issue with the two depots you downloaded which may need a redownload and to be drag to game folder BOTH of them. Perhaps you didn’t download the hotfix file you get from graceborne “ files “ it has a “ msg “ folder and a “ regulation bin “ file. Could be that, just throwing ideas but main problem I’ll say is :
Did you move all your files from the two depot folders you downloaded into the game folder of elden ring it will overwrite some files in game folder if not you missed the whole point of doing this. depot files is how you get the 1.10 version go back in video if you dont know what im saying and get this done. { TO CHECK THIS INFO : menu screen right side should show what version you on when you use offline launcher or mod engine to launch }, possible issues like this can cause it, if THIS ISNT the problem and u are positive you on 1.10 , let me know I’m not sure what else can cause that text missing and stuff. I have no experience but helped someone solve it based on them going from 1.12 to 1.10.

READ THIS CAREFULLY. common mistake.
The problem is your save data or game version are not 1.10.
Checklist to fix this common issue and common mistake:
1 : Did you move all your files from the two depot folders you downloaded into the game folder of elden ring it will overwrite some files in game folder if not you missed the whole point of doing this. depot is how you get the 1.10 version go back in video if you dont know what im saying and get this done.
2 : After you know you done step 1 , Go to local c drive > users > your username > appdata > roaming > elden ring
3 : you should now see a folder with alot of numbers as a name for an EXAMPLE : 18654832649832
4 : Click inside this folder and copy any files that is in it
5 : make a folder somewhere else named as " elden ring original save files " and paste that damn thing you copied in step 4 in it for safe keeping you will need this to play on your characters if you play seamless or regular moddless elden ring thats up to date + dlc
6 : After this is saved safely, GO BACK TO step 2. Inside the folder you see labeled as numbers, YOU WANT TO NOW REMOVE ALL THE FILES in it that you backed up and saved elsewhere from step 4 & 5.
7 : Now theres no save files inside the numbers folder, Launch " offline mode " which you get from anti cheat toggler & offline launcher on nexusmod , link is in description. This should be moved into your GAME FOLDER already once you did it if not, to find your game folder , go on steam , right click elden ring > properties > Installed files > Browse click elden ring, this is your GAME FILES where the anti cheat and offline mode should be along with your game files.
8 : The game elden ring should pop up, accept any prompt that pops up, you will be shown OFFLINE automatically due to offline mode. as it is intended. As long as you can see the menu with no errors look at the right side of the screen and make sure it says OFFLINE and the version as 1.10 if you for some reason get " save data corrupted " error here go to step 12.
9 : Once you can see and confirm that you can see menu and see offline and 1.10 with no errors, CLOSE game.
10 : Now go to mod engine folder that you install which should be in the same drive as your game and click launchmod_eldenring.bat.
11 : you should now see graceborne intro and title launched. your error of " save data and match data is not matching " should not appear anymore. if it does, no idea what in the world happened because this is the fix.
12 : if you get a new error saying " save data is corrupted " do these steps to get pass it th-cam.com/video/EbPBPU-hWcU/w-d-xo.html
I have explained this in the tutorial video but this is a better visual for this fix and instead of using steam like i did at first , i use the offline mode which is easier for most in the newer video.
you may or may not have to repeat the steps of removing in step 6. but the issue now is usually solved in the video that includes the regulation.bin file restoring. if anything comment or dm discord LadySheik for help.

If so , make sure mod engine and Elden ring exe is in same HardDriveDisk, some people even put the mod engine folder where Elden ring exe is installed in , make sure steam is running in the background. I was suffering from the same problem as everyone else and my solution was a little more complicated since I completely reinstall Elden ring. if your really want to play this mod no matter what and wiling to try what I did go for it but it probably wont work for everyone. I made a backup to my saves and then I deleted the Elden ring folder in %appdata%. I went to steam deleted Elden ring and then reinstall it so I made sure I had all the base game files and downgrade the game to 1.10 Next install toggle anti cheat and put everything in the game folder. I then loaded up start game in offline mode. MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE A ELDEN RING FOLDER IN %appdata% so when the game loads up it'll make a save for 1.10. if your start in offline mode Elden ring loads up and your able to see the game version 1.10 or 1.10.1 on the bottom right and not load up to a error then that's good! Next follow all the steps in downloading the mod in the video. Make sure you downloaded the hotfix and change the regulation bin. Only thing I did different is I moved the Modmanager 2 folder to my Elden ring folder and then I change the Config_eldenring. After doing all types of solutions for hours this is the one that solved it Good luck.

I may be stupid but youre saying that one of the ways to fix save's problem you have to launch game via steam, but if you do that your steam will try to update the game cause you are on version 1.10
What i did was toggle anti cheat as you said, but then just launched original game using file "Start_game_in_offline_mode" and after i did that my graceborn version also started working properly and i finally fixed save's after bashing in my head into wall for 3hrs at least
LOL sorry i tried my best to explainnnn, But i think any way like that works as long as you are offline when you start the original game, my steam doesnt update since i have it disable which is why i did it that way but the way you did it is just as same i honestly didnt even realize until few hours ago about the start game offline.

@@admiralvolodya1443 I only known that when i play some sounds are lost like some enemies make zero noise and stuff , it could be the mods custom sounds, because graceborne is LOUD AF so if you not hearing anything maybe what you can try , removing the custom sounds n going back to original sounds. From the source: "Sound modding is extremely unstable. If you experience crashes upon loading into the world or that several sounds from different sources (mostly enemies) are missing, displace the sd folder inside your mod folder somewhere else or change its name, so as the custom sound banks don't get loaded. However this means you would not be able to have custom sounds." But now rereading what you wrote, you not having sounds for the original game too , oh i have no idea. i only experience graceborne losing sounds on enemies. I switch all the time and havent experience that , havent found anything else either besides what the author wrote for graceborne when it comes to sounds

One of these have to be a fix I usually believe it’s the version of the game since mod can work on 1.12 but it is MEANT for 1.10 until further notice
@@LadySheik I did use the mod description depot and I did download the hotfix, but I wasn’t sure what to do with the hot fix. And my version of Elden ring I am unsure of. When the text started acting off I went back into my game folder and verified my folder, but now my Elden Ring started a forced update. I am sorry if I am not very descriptive about this, it’s my first time trying to mod something this big. I am currently waiting for the game to stop updating because I can’t start the game until it is done.
@@Mui-Edits I can’t remember what u need the hot box or if we have to move it somewhere , but I do know the regulation bin file was in there which is a step you have to do, just making sure u done the basics something’s can be over looked I can’t tell what went wrong since I didn’t watch you do it. You can’t verify or use steam unless you disable updates completely for ER. Other wise use offline launcher to know for sure the game can load. I have stated to always back up your files literally ALL of them even the graceborne. So you can always just move them around n replace if needed. If the game updates you may have to depot unless you backup the folder to save you the time. Sorry if it’s confusing since I know it’s your first which is why I have my guide long and have essays of descriptions 😂 we will figure it out

yes this is what the " depot " on steam console do, just have to drag those files you downloaded to game files. But yeah the mod only works on 1.10, if u just want the moves or weapons , im not sure if they work on 1.12 gotta check for that but for this whole new bloodborne version{ graceborne } of elden ring from this author with like new bosses n areas basically " a new experience of elden ring as a whole " , yes only 1.10 for now works for it :]
Whenever I get to the graceborne loading screen it says “Failed to save game. Save data is corrupted. Select ok to try again” is there a way to fix this. Sorry if it was explained in the video I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to this stuff.

You use mod engine an put the mod folder there an im guessing the game folder goes into the game directory.

I followed the guide. I run the launchmod_eldenring.bat a cmd window pops up and then the game doesn't launch. What did i screw up?
Wish I knew honestly, make sure elden ring isnt running in the background in task manager if you opened up before. sometimes a reboot of the pc can help. as of now No clue why it wont even launch for you, im sure u have but if u havent just make sure you did everything. Make sure the mod engine that has " launchmod elden ring " file you speak of is in the SAME harddrive or SSD where your elden ring is installed. so if elden ring is on a " X drive " have your mod engine and etc somewhere on the " X drive ". Lmk if anything changes
@@LadySheik hmm tried restarting but still same issue. I think it might be related that I have 2 installs of elden ring even if they are on different SSDs hmm does the bat just search the same drive for an eldenring.exe or it looks in registry for the installation path I wonder.
@@Kaladrel I think it searches for the game in the same drive, which is why i said make sure its in the same drive. I have original elden ring in the same drive and my graceborne. Just retrace your steps im not sure what else it can be. Make sure you did everything because even when i messed up with the notepad part, Launchingmod still loaded for me it just wasnt graceborne instead it was just regular elden ringsince i didnt type out my path correctly in the notepad. so has to be something missing somewhere since even if it was wrong you should still see the launch. im sorry i havent heard on this yet :x

@@RetroCryo on steam u have to go to settings and installed games I believe sorry not on my pc until after weekend but you can find the games u have in ur disk and u have the option to move it to another drive, u may have to add your hard drive you want to move it in if u never have it identify and created folders from steam. Everything for this is in the settings so u don’t rlly have to do anything else just add your drive if u haven’t n move your game to the drive u want n it will show a bar to show its progress and when it’s done

@@bojaber570 pinned comment may have info on that, some times people launch it and it crashes , some people get white or black screen, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work usually it’s mod engine trying to find Elden ring, please read pinned to see what most people said were fixes. Make sure your same hard drive has mod engine and Elden ring in it , n if none of that works whatever else I wrote in there , someone said something about moving their mod engine folder into their Elden ring exe help them. its fixable.

Info in pinned under your issue but I think this is for when it’s stuck on black screen, but regardless lmk if the fixes in pinned helped for it so I’m aware it actually helps since I usually through guesses of possibility

sorry , are you speaking about the save files ?? anything inside the folder that is named after alot of numbers, you want to save whatever is inside somewhere else and remove it after you have it somewhere else. as inside that numbers folder it should be empty after. so everything in it you save somewhere else.
if you not speaking about this just tell me where or what it is you copying n pasting to another folder , i tend to back up and save alot of things so not sure which u mean :]

@@0_ohmuhgod299 ohhh this is the game files so before you do the whole video I was just saying u can back up EVERYTHING in That game file, you don’t have to it’s just how I go from graceborne back to Elden ring with the dlc easier without having to update the game again or remove folders I have a video explaining why I do this but again u don’t have to it takes up more space but it’s just to make life bit easier, so up to u if u want to back up and save your UPTODATE game files of Elden ring somewhere else usually in the same hard drive that way you can come get it back when u done with graceborne again there’s a video I posted recently on what I mean by that n why I do that but it’s not needed it’s only if u wanna do what I do to switch back and forth. Video is called something like “ switching from graceborne 1.10 to Elden ring 1.12 and play online again “
Again that is all to switch back to regular game easier, if not , you can just update your game after you swap your graceborne save files out and put ur original save files in , and take out all the folders n files of graceborne out from your game files and update the game from steam , but because I backed up my game files in the same hard drive , all I do is just move game files folder to folder and I can switch to whatever game version I want in 3 minutes while also swapping my save files for the version I need. It was just easier for me since I do go online a lot and also like to play modded graceborne if and WHEN graceborne works with mod engine better like other mods or when it works for 1.12 it wont be needed as much :) it’s only bc the game is 1.10 n when switch to dlc n online u have to be on 1.12 and make sure game n save files don’t have any modded files or folders
I still get the save file error even when i use "start game in offline mode" and renaming the regulation.bin to regulationBACKUP.bin and getting the regulation.bin from the mod and removing it and changing the BACKUP back to its original name regulation.bin - even getting that message when I start ER from steam now
THIS FIXED IT FOR ME - " also make sure you back up and save your save files somewhere safe { located in your local c drive > users > your username > appdata > roaming > elden ring either remove folder or remove the E000.2l or whatever file thats in it after you save it somewhere else } that could be the reason and then try these steps again. regulation.bin is the problem here but its also if you have original save files still in ur local c drive which the one i said to remove. i believe starting the game offline without mods with the 1.10 version of elden ring somehow creates a new save folder for 1.10. thats all its suppose to do to fix this issue also with the whole regulation.bin process of moving the modded one and changing the original name as in video should fix it. lmk if anything" THANK YOU!!!

deleting the previous files that where created by the command then restarting my PC fixed this for me
@@glenn6284 the console gives no progress bar. As soon as it's finished downloading you'll get a notification. You can check your task manager and the network tab to check if Steam is still downloading :)

When I loaded mod engine for the game I didn’t see graceborne at first until I corrected my notepad
Hey, so once I get to the Download reshade and "select present to install". I couldn't find the GRACEBORNE.ini . I'm not sure if its the "GRACEBORNE" configuration settings or im missing something.

@@blizic1721 make sure you put all your firearms the pistols , into your chest by sitting on a lamp (grace / bonfire ) n putting it in. Even if it’s on your character inventory it will crash. This is a known issue the author stated. Also be careful fast traveling to church of Elle where the merchants r sometimes that can crash or worst get u stuck . So I usually go to First Step Grace and walk there since it’s super close ^_^ but yes u can’t upgrade firearms so need it in ur chest if u going to upgrade other weapons

@@connorevanscaygill2122 it’s an easy fix I’m telling you lol there’s a video in pinned named “ save data corruption solution “ or something of a sort , thats the SOLUTION it, it’s the only way to fix it I explain it better and show it better in that video and it’s a quick 3 minute fix BUT !!!!! before u do that fix in the pinned comment video , make SURE you backed up ur original saves and then remove it in the local c drive , the folders that is named with numbers make sure all the saves in it is removed after u copy n paste it somewhere for safety before u do the video step i promise u it’s super easy lol everything is in the pinned comment even on this video and the other video, just gotta make sure there’s no save files at all when u doing the regulation bin file swap that I explained in the next video. But when I used 1.10 version of the mod and Elden ring I did have the music and sound of graceborne. But like I said this is outdated so I’m not sure anymore but the 1.12.3 I have the Elden ring sounds.
Am I the only person who managed to load the mod, but when creating a new character the different classes are the vanilla classes and not the modded ones (normal weapons, normal gear etc) any help?
@@thegamingsection821 you not the only one I seen this reported few times I’m not what u did wrong , you transfer the depot files right to your game files to overwrite the updated one , to make sure it’s 1.10 on the menu? Have u downloaded the “ hotfix “ file in the graceborne files it’s on optional? And got the right regulation bin file that’s modded ? I feel like the mod was incorrectly downloaded probably,so make sure u got it all even the reshade, I unfortunately don’t know the correct solution to this but few people have this issue, maybe try to reload the mods in with Elden ring exe file is. It’s just something not loaded in or done 100% because I never got this issue and most issues I solved is due to a missed step or wrong version somehow. If u ever figure it out it will be much appreciated if u say what u did so I can update my pinned comment for the actual solution , hope u figure it out !!!

@@cantandwont6636 sorry confused , I believe the mod now works with 1.12 I have yet to look into it but I seen they have updated graceborne , to update the regular game u just swap the whole modded files out I have a video on how I swap from original to modded on channel if maybe that’s what u mean, but this was for 1.10 graceborne. But same should apply anytime the mod is outdated in the future I just back it up somewhere and swap folders.

And backup ur saves n remove either folder or the file inside it ? I tried launching steam after disabling updates but using offline launcher is better. You most likely just need to fix that regulation file or remove save data that’s the only thing I’m aware of to fix, sorry If I’m saying the obvious just can’t always tell what went wrong since I don’t know everything u did lol but you are close that’s the main issue we all had at first. For any issue like this it just seems to be the regulation bin file , and then need to launch the game without the mods with offline mode in whichever way works for u , so it can create data on it since it’s also an older version which removing saves files can probly help with that. Then trying to make sure offline mode starts normal with no mods n error, and then do the regulation file stuff.

Hard to help when I never had the issue or read on it much , Have you downgraded your game as in you see it 1.10 when you load up on the bottom right corner of the menu ? i know someone else tried it on 1.12 with the dlc update and they were unable to see weapons and classes i believe. This mod only works at the moment on 1.10, updates will be loaded soon. so only thing Im aware of when it comes to this if you did everything right and downloaded all thats needed. thats my only guess :x

damn , honestly i dont think so, but hey if anything if you can , you can get a harddrive for like 60 bucks if u in US on ebay or amazon , doesnt have to be a SSD , but i ususally buy Harddrives and just connect it thru usb for some games. Overall you should atleast have some back up harddrives that way you can put games and other stuff elsewhere and let your c drive breathe :]

You can download That file by googling script data exposer fs , it will pop up if u needed it. Again I’m just making sure u r aware this is 1.10 only tutorial. Just don’t want u confuse and think this tutorial is for the 1.12 there’s another video for those that want to play update and with the dlc 😂

If u had it working but had the save data corruption I do have a video for that pinned here which shows it better than this tutorial, if it’s the game data n save data not matching I believe you may have to remove your saves if u have them and make sure game on 1.10 n then try the steps in the video pinned it shouldn’t load up regular if using mod engine though 🤔
If it doesn’t load up the mods something went wrong tho, I never changed my files in tutorial to remove it or anything, even for the “ fix of save data issue “ the mods always stayed in the folder , disable steam updates if u opened from steam , use offline launcher instead for the regulation bin file also which is in the other short video just for the save data issue. @@divra7758 okay I believe the new version of graceborne to work with 1.12 might not need some of these steps ? This is what worked and was given to us for the 1.10 version I believe they made it simpler now, I haven’t updated yet so can’t confirm but I see in their description they removed the step for installation that used script data exposed
So unless u really want the 1.10 version I’ll have to find or get the file of the script data , but if not just get the new update and try to follow directions which took out two steps from the 1.10 which was downgrading and the script file. So might be easier I’ll probably do a tutorial for the update for those still confused once I update it myself
i tried turobleshootoing for hours and im just not getting the character and the npc shop to appear for me is anyone else having that problem the monsters are what they should be just my character is still elden ring base character like hero class and the npc that sells the bloodborne weapons is textureless and dont sell anything

@@LadySheik Yeh, as soon as I open the game it gives me random letters and a code at the end. I used the console to downgrade the game to 1.10, unfortunately it got corrupted after trying to fix it so I'll have to download the game & downgrade again. @@Cyber_cvlt yeah them slashes are so easy to miss and okay Sorry this can be a pain for some , I with others got lucky and some how didn’t get those weird issues lol sometimes it’s just something we over looked. Or sometimes people didn’t know they were still on 1.12 because they didn’t drag the depot to game files. It happens but hope it works out for uuu

welppp, did you downgrade ? to 1.10 like on menu does it say 1.10 version? also did you also downloaded the " hot fix " in graceborne mod page files in nexas mod. I didnt have this issue BUT i have try to tell people this and havent heard back whether it fixed it or if they have this for sure, since 1.12 doesnt work well with graceborne but can load. just not the items apparently. Its not updated yet for the dlc. and also the hot fix im not sure im guessing based on the description that it says " fixes some texts " so taking a guess here, please lmk if u did this or if anything got fixed or if it didnt lol ^_^
but over all some weapons wont have icons but it will say the name if anything u will see the " no icon " image for it, while maybe like 7 or so you can see the image of. but if u cant see ANY of them at all yeah try the above message i posted to u ^_^
Im just getting a black screen whenever I launch the mod. I think i've done everything correct
@@joshbreitenbach9667 engine mod doesn’t load the game for you ? Or you just load it but can’t even see menu u just see the black screen ? As of right now I’m not sure on this , please try to look up on Google or even Reddit sometimes other mods for Elden ring have this issue maybe a solution will be there and see whatever they did you can fix even with this mod or atleast with mod engine , I believe it’s a mod engine thing tho . if u can load up the game offline mode regularly it has to be an issue with mod engine so look into that

I can launch the game fine, I get the bloodborne title screen, but when I try to press play it says "The game version and save data version are different. Quit the game and use the steam client to update game data to the latest version before trying again". Any idea on how to fix it would be appreciated
@@notus97 When you load it do you see “1.10 version “ on the bottom right of menu ? Have you tried removing your save data and backing it up somewhere else in your local C drive ? also once you done these If you haven’t looked on my pinned comment, there’s another short video what to do next , it might have been done but this is the only thing I’m aware to fix this, it’s either your game or a save data that has to be altered , let me know, sorry if i have said the obvious or things you double check just making sure ^_^
@@LadySheik I fixed it but thanks for the help! I accidentally copied my save and I didn't move it, that was what caused the issue. After that I then had the error with the save files where you video helped again!

@@Thewlieee I seen this error a lot and like I’m not sure what it is if you do have the 1.10 version , something went wrong I just can’t point it out since I never saw it to try n fix it. I just assume any issues with weapons or text could be a version thing. If you have the right one , may have to post on graceborne to see if anyone ever found a true fix

no it's on a version before the dlc came out.
For the time being no DLC is needed so you will be downgrading elden ring to an older version { which is the whole steam console nonsense with the depot numbers }
The author is working on making it work with the updated version of elden ring + the dlc once thats done you can play with dlc if desired.

what file do you have thats rar ?? either way you need to unzip it .RAR files, you can download 7zip for free, to unzip it. and get inside of it to use the contents inside

@@Uncut-v1x idk too much on this did u use the depots from the description of the mod or the one that was on the pinned message on the posts ? Are u on 1.10 ? Some one before make it work on like 1.12 and had issues, u can check thru menu it tells on the right side of screen, and did u also downloaded and used the “hotfix “ file it’s under “ optional files “ on graceborne page. I’m just throwing possibilities hard to tell what it is really that causes it but make sure u have all that idk if reshade does anything but I suppose make sure u have the right one that’s in their description

wait you saying you getting an error in red texts in the steam console when trying to do the depot? I cant remember the exact words all i know it failed on me before , Did you check if you have enough space for 50GB and few more just incase? only time i seen it fail for me on depot. steam console depots go where your steam is installed in, if you have a harddrive with more space , try and move your steam folder or files to that harddrive and try again with the depot. if this isnt what you mean , explain more :X lol illl try my best to figure it out.
@@LadySheik thank u sm for the reply quickly. I have plenty of space for the mods for sure. All I’ve been seeing is you get red error text when you’re out of space. I’ll reset my computer but no promises lol.
@@PNWPaarthurnax No problem im trying my best LOL im not too familiar with steam console this is the first time i ever used it n that red error i got was because of my space. also make sure u using the graceborne depot in their description, theres also some other sets u can try if all fails , it should be under post on nexusmod for it, it will be in the pinned messaged, i heard those depots have lighting issues and possible sound issues but worth a shot if the original depot dont work or we cant figure out why it doesnt for u , or know what you seeing lol

mmm strange, i made evrething well, and the problem still on my game, i think that can be usefull share a savedata pack without any game created, only with the data generated by the game in the first startup
If you know a way I can do that , I will, I always thought of just zipping up my file from the start and just having people download it in someway and all you have to do was just drag n drop along with a fresh save that you can drop in your local c drive, not sure if its easy or doable but jeez this was alot to do lol. Also mind explaining what the problem u r having in the game ?
@@LadySheik error with the save data, and yes if you can share your save data with us I think it can fix our problems , because I don't know how but I'm trying in two devices my desktop and my rog ally and I made a mistake in the desktop , I did run my game without the mod only with the version downgraded , and I created a game to try the version and then when I run the game in the rog ally with the mod it was sync with the save data of the desktop, and in that moment the error was fixed buuut when I try to create a new game and select the class ,the game keeps in the loading screen, that's the reason because I think that with a save data generated with the mod installed should fix this problem

are you trying to find the regulation.bin file ? if so, it should be the " hot fix file " under the 'update files' in the graceborne nexusmod page. i just reinstall it to see and its in there also i just used github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases the one that says " ModEngine- 2.1.0.0-win64 . zip "

Does this work with seamless coop mod for 1.10?
I have not tried this on seamless yet nor see statements that it does, if you do try it , please report back I would love to know as well, i wont be home tonight so i wont be able to try it until like tomorrow.
Having a really big problem with saves, do i need the saves from the 1.10 that i reverted back to? Ive tried clearing out the save folder and adding my back up saves back in but its always "Your save data is corrupted" or "your game version and save data version is different"

No, Not yet :] to get everything working you need to downgrade to 1.10 elden ring. The author is currently working on a way to make it possible to work with dlc and updated elden ring.

@@Blakegrimis1990 if you want to use graceborne without the 1.12 and prefer the 1.10 version the depot you need for 1.10 is in this video description
