Please EA don’t disappoint with career mode this year. They should introduce like a youth champions league for the academy players so one’s academy players gets game time and we can also see the best academies in the world and be able to buy from them.

@@xaz-999- that’s not too far, it’s real life and that should be the aim of EA, to make it as realistic as possible. Big clubs sign good academy players all the time and if you didn’t know, there is a UEFA youth champions league taking place every year.
It would be cool to have a career mode that starts from the academy, and they'd add a feature where some of the games there'll be scouts so you could impress the scout and eventually you'll play for the first team.

I really like the idea, but I think EA have their hands tied due to licensing and sponsors for real clubs
I hope EA add more realistic transfers for the ai teams. I don’t know if that’s feasible, but it would make the game more enjoyable. A few additional cutscenes and a trophy cabinet would be nice.

@@piotrj.451I’d prefer a patch of FIFA 23 that updates the kits and squads to shelling out for a new game. As for the cutscenes, you watch them once and then they get old. Pointless thing for them to waste time on when there are so many other and more pressing things that they could be implementing.
Do you have the opportunity to start from the bench in the player career mode? That is a thing that has been lacking for years
If they don't have stat history for each individual players then it's a shame. What I mean by this is goals and assists history throughout each players career. Regardless of if he's your player or a player you are trying to sign. It should show you what he's won, how many games he's won. What individual award he's won too. They should go in depth with this feature and I'd love it if they do this. Also make career mode two maybe three times longer instead of it automatically retiring you after 15 seasons. No one retires after 15 years. No one

Played career modes for years, here's a few ideas for you
- Update kits at the end of each season
- Make regens/youth players avatars look more realistic
- More variety in the cutscenes (including different backroom staff at each club, not the same 2 people who I see also appear in this video)
- Coherent interview questions
- Bigger range of player stats
- Realistic loan moves and not always loan to buy offers. Would be good to see stats on players who are out on loan too.
Loan players never play when they're out on loan which is rlly unrealistic, would be good if they actually played

I love these new updates. definitely makes it more realistic. The only thing i want to see added to player career mode, is starting from academy. That would truly make it a full career.
I just want a Career mode where random young players dont hit 90 suddenly and old players dont have a decreasing rating if they are play good. I want the ratings to change purely based on stats. Because in fifa 23, A player like Ronaldo or Messi can score 40 goals and 20 assists in their first season and still end the season decreasing 4 ratings. Which is very unrealistic

Their season stats won’t decrease if their ratings remain high. So in theory Messi would be 50 years old and still a rating of 90 because a 90+ player is always gonna do well
When you get older you get slower, weaker, more susceptible to injuries. Vision as well
I think the current growth and decline is correct and well balanced. Many times they represent the real life changes players go through.
Another idea is in player career mode to have your player begin at about 16 years old in the youth academy, actually play the games in the youth premier league for example until they're 18-21.
(Maybe in FC25 though, honestly for now they should focus on adding things that'll actually improve career mode as a whole - things that we're actually asking for).

Personally I enjoy long saves I didn’t hear if it was mentioned but I think they should increase saves from 15 seasons to maybe 20 because for example in player career if your starting as a 17 year old 15 years later you are only 32 and I think having more seasons to play as a veteran player would be enjoyable
They should make it competitive so we can feel every game that 3 points are crucial-it needs to give us that atmospheric pressure must make us feel like we important

They should add dynamic potential for each player, not only your own players. This way in each career mode, there might be new legends and hidden gems.
This exists already? Potential is merely a guideline if the player has consistent 7/10 performances. If a player is in good enough form indefinitely, his attributes will continue to rise.

What we really want is the possibility to create a team, customize the kits (from the logo to the sponsors), have a pack of 100 players with real faces that we can add to that team and finally (why not dream big) a story with choice consequences that follows from the creation of the club to the bright future of winning the champions league. They can also add recruitment (WD Legion style) and other things .... :/
One thing i'd like is to be able to change the appearance of the players if they don't have irl faces or are generated by the game. I hate having players who are 17 and looking like 30

Manager career seems much more exciting. Like someone was saying underneath it would be cool to customize kits and stadiums though. But I’m excited to mess around with scout reports and player development
For years, EA has not been able to do even such a simple thing as player statistics from previous seasons. Such a detail changes a lot in career mode.
Some great additions this year (and some serious fluff that will just be ignored). But this, along with more competitive AI are absolute must for immersion and longevity
i honestly think EA sports fc or basically fifa 24 will probably be actually fun and enjoyable im kind of sad that because of school i probably wont have any time to play it until 2024 but after school ends i will be able t o play the game. İ will watch this video every day to not forget.

I think it would be cool to have a Reputation system (e.g., from 1 to 100) in the Career Mode, which would also affect transfers. In this system, clubs would have a certain reputation, influenced by their current coach, success, and past achievements. Players' reputation would be based on factors like their rating, age, club, league, potential, and nationality, which would also affect their market value.
Highly reputable players would only consider transfers to clubs with a similar reputation. For instance, a 16-year-old talent from Real Madrid, with a current rating of 60 but a potential of 90, would still have a high market value and wouldn't move to a club like Augsburg if Augsburg's reputation is too low.
This would make AI transfers more realistic and add more fun to gameplay, as you couldn't simply buy the highest-potential talents when starting with smaller teams. Instead, you'd have to work your way up, achieve success, and increase your club's reputation to attract such players.
Additionally, it would be great if coaches could change clubs and bring their playing philosophy with them.
Great idea! This would prevent dumb transfers we see in career mode by the AI system. It would also make it more realistic for you, like if you select 2nd division team and try to sign a star like Haaland just because you got the money, but he wouldn’t join cause the reputation of a 2nd division club is low, so it would force you to work your way up to the leagues with average players first and then sign the stars you want once your reputation is higher. Love it!

Honestly this is the gamemode with the most potential. Come on EA pls make it good. I would love it if the community could give feature suggestions as there could be so many more even small features added. At the same time i dont get why some people moan so much because the game is a FOOTBALL SIMULATOR.

I won’t be satisfied until I see this effort taking place on the NHL series. That’s where it’s needed most as the game has been nearly the same every year. We really need something different and similar to this to make the title more engaging and enjoyable

Im glad you can set your target teams, as i hate in player career mode im playing in league 2 and after 1 season im getting top 5 premier league sides, or even reverse where im at a top side and i only get other top teams, i wouldn't mind a cheeky down grade to a bottom table side!
would be great to have a trial/scouting system in player career like in jumpers for goalposts, more control in contract negotiation, talking to the manager/assistant coach and squad position not working solely on manager rating(70 ST should not automatically be in starting 11 over 83 ST)
Seeing your overall stats, team trophies, and personal ones throughout your player career would be perfect. Being able to see how many titels you've won, and how many golden shoes, or times you were in team of the season, or even the ballon d'or ranking. if you finished, 5th or 10th

Some interesting changes to manager career mode, but there needs to be a lot more changes than the once we saw. All of them were focused on preparing for games and playing games, but there is more to the gamemode than just that. Was hoping for big chances to the youth system.

These seem like some of the most meaningful career updates for a long time. One thing I'd really like to see is longer careers though. I understand that infinite seasons would pose some technical issues but I think 30 years would be great!

In my opinion, it is an achievement that you have been consistently making the football ball like a balloon and failing to provide the feeling of a shot in this game series that I have been experiencing since 1996. I congratulate you for this consistency, dear EA Sports employees.
One thing i really want in eafc 24 is being able to send players back to youth team and more controll over the youth team similar to what you can do in football manager
Hopefully EA FC 24 is a 9.5/10 game overall. Not the samey 2/10 overall from FIFA 19 to 23!

They should’ve also added, change uniforms each season (can just add uniforms from past seasons to pick from), get rid of activities and put in post game interviews like manager mode has, you should also be able to customize your street clothes for when you enter the stadium pre game, and finally should be able to change formation and tactics (for the sole reason that the cpu doesn’t make tactic changes and doesn’t always play the best players)…that’s the remainder of my wish list

@@tyde2736 yup. 100%. Make small little upgrades to it each year. They def have loads of ideas, but they’re just saving it so that can add in 1 new feature each year for the next 70 years
Something really annoying in Player Carrer mode is the fact that the coach never changes the squad, so by February a lot of players have their bars in yellow in a lot of matches and they don't help you at all. It's cool to carry the team sometimes but squad rotation should be a thing
must be a you problem then. ive witnessed the coach changing the start up line every now and then, be it its a cup game or just a league game when there are tired players.

In this career mode you have a chance to win Ballon D'or in this game which is a great feature that needs to be added since for the long time and it's finally here.
These are some very nice changes and additions, and a good step in the right direction. Hoping there are plenty more fixes from earlier career modes, especially player career that have been taken care of.

Hopefully they actually matter, and good tactics on the day can help you win despite having worse players.
One thing I'm missing in career mode are sponsors. F1 has them, therefore EA should be able to do this, and in the Fifa 23 kit designer there's even a kit specifically designed for a sponsor. I think it would be an amazing addition that could really add extra immersion into a create a club team. Especially because custom kits look boring asf without them.
I’ve been playing on pc and just redesigning every teams kits each season. It’s so much fun.

@@pitilwin9485 mods. It’s kind of complicated, but you can change and edit the kits for teams by modifying the actual game files.
Licensing issues, you wouldn’t be able to stick a brand real or not and replace Liverpool’s IRL sponsor. They should be available for create a club however

I think this seems very fun. I like agents being added to player career mode, that could really push that game mode forward with the help of good career paths. I would love to see the Ukrainian Premier League added to the game though!

I don‘t think there are big Copyright Issues. Look at Grand Tourismo 7. You can create a car with so many random, gt7- or community based Sponsors and Drive with it in Multiplayer Mode.

When you create your own career player mode character, make it so after you retire (from player to manager) you can continue as manager for at least another 15 seasons.

E.g. lower league youth player starts as 50-55 overall so really have to grind to get to the top, Journeyman where you are limited to signing 1-2 year contracts before moving on (i would limit potential rating to 75-80 to make it more realistic) and then top talent which would be how it is now where you start off at 70 overall and can quickly get to the top.
Atm player career is unbalanced as you cant set your rating, joining a prem club at the start with a rating of 70 makes sense but not when you want to start out the lower leagues. Starting at a League two club instantly makes you the best player in the league by a mile and its too easy.
There is so much potential in career mode but they feel they only drip feed improvements its so frustrating.
That's why fifa 17 is the last game i bought. Going to buy 24 this year.
Just a recommendation you guys should try to add online career mode, like your and your friend just play on the same club and transfer to different clubs together, and win the World Cup together, that would be awesome

watch CaniSports and his reaction to the Fifa 23 trailer, they don’t care about our feedback enough, the developers don’t listen and do things their way.

Use career mode to get people to buy the game… then use ultimate team to get people to pay more… the perfect strategy.
@@jdog4673 They will see that play time of that mode goes down, but it barely affects their revenue so they will not allocate any resources to Career Mode anymore and eventually might just cut the mode altogether.
Career mode needs to have an application system for the head coach to apply which team he wants to coach .. especially with the national teams

Also, all rosters and players should be fully editable and visible in "manager mode". It doesn't make sense that I don't know or can't see the player ratings for each player, it is convoluted.
Career mode is the only reason I even play “EAFC” so I hope it delivers this year

I need this feature in career mode, it would make the game more realistic. Transfer Lists and Loan Lists will be different in this idea. So the Loan Lists won't work as now, you can now offer to loan a player without loan list, except it will be much harder without the player being loan listed, especially if it is the second to last year of the contract. pretty much same for transfer list unless the club want money

Being injured wouldn't automatically make a manager transfer you out for not being able to raise the manager rating
Also it would be fun if there was some off pitch gameplay like being able to actually use the money you get from wages for something like getting tattoos or something

@@warumistjedernamevergeben Of course they can. Like in Gran Turismo, for example. There are even fake sponsors advertisings in one of the stadiums in the previous Fifa games.
I just hope we can get vr in the next 5 yearsfor player career mode and manager mode. Imagine standing on the side of the pitch simulating all star with ya fav players playing in manager mode or playing player career mode like passing the ball or what not
I know that there is new animation but ea add more and try to do something where we can chose our voice in career mode even for the ceremony or when we are doing the conferences with the managers
I'm shocked that we did not hear anything about online/coop career from anyone until now. Would be such a crucial feature to really enhance the career mode and bring it to a new level!

Naturally, EA will never be able to replicate the real Football game ever but definitely they are making improvements. The change in camera angles are something to look forward to & player career path sounds new and fresh.
In Manager Mode, having the opponent team buy players and use them properly is a great plus if added. I have seen top clubs bench amazing players and start default ones. Once Arsenal played Kovacic as a LB which absolutely made no sense at all. These kind of mistakes should be avoided.
Also EA make sure the referee on the side lines is holding up the FA sub board properly. Don't make basic mistakes and don't drop the ball.

Its just not enough, no stadium creater, no sponsorships, no academy leauge, limited custom kits and badges are probably still going to be there no new stadiums , no half time team talks no player communication each game, no trophy cabient its like the game isnt 100% complete

There are so many possibilities to create a sensational career mode.
THIS IS SICK
The player career mode should start at a youth academy tournament depending on how well you do those clubs will offer a contract and you work your way up from YA, reserves, senior team. You should have clubs interested trying to offer a transfer fee anytime because of your play or your club trying to loan you out if theres no room for you. Less control of your own fate
would love for player career mode to feature a social media page. Also it would be nice to see how many trophies you have one as a player for example having an actual trophy cabinet with the physical trophies you have won as a player
This! Player career mode could take a thing or 2 from nba 2k. We should be able to track the in season stats of every single player (e.g. I’m fed up of losing the ballon d’or to mbappe every year without being able to see how his stats compare to mine). Also we should be able to track our performance throughout every individual season in a more in depth way (e.g. seeing how many g/a we got in the prem or cl in an individual season). I think these features would make player career mode much more fufilling
One thing that needs to be inputted is other teams managers being sacked if they perform poorly. Instead of graham potter being chelsea manager for 10 years like 23😂
Social media was in the manager career leaks so there’s no excuse for it to not be there
