  • Many people in our culture commit the same error which many religious Jews committed in the days of Christ and the Apostle Paul. First, they fail to understand that God gives the status of righteousness to any person who believes in Jesus and publicly confesses Him as Lord. Second, they think they can win God’s approval by doing good things and being moral people. These are eternally fatal errors.
In Romans 10:1-13, The Apostle Paul identifies these damning errors, and then gives proper instruction on what a person must do and believe in order to attain to eternal salvation. He teaches that salvation through works requires moral perfection (which no one achieves). But, salvation by faith requires sincere public confession of Jesus as Lord and true belief that God raised Him from the dead. Finally, he shows us that salvation through faith is available to anyone who calls on Jesus Christ as Lord. This message is critically important, in fact, these insights are of eternal consequence.
The following is a sermon from Romans 10:1-13 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.

I grew up being taught this (Romans 10:10 & 10:13) But I have a self professed theologian friend, say that you dont have to call upon the Lord w/ your Mouth, you just have to believe. He says Romans Ch.9,10 & 11 were written specifically to the jews and only applies to them.
    I disagree.
