I love the fish in a bag! Such a fun idea! And I also get very disappointed when my food isn't amazingly good when eating out. I mean, if I could make something equally good or better at home for less, it really feels like a waste of money. But I'm glad you made some wonderful friends and enjoyed your retreat experience. Cross stitch people are the most generous wonderful people! 💖

I cracked up at your daughter playing your videos to calm down Angel! That's hilarious! But what a stroke of genius! Good thing you have plenty of videos so she could just let them play! =P So many goodies! But holy guacamole, that notions swap bag seriously was just put together specially for you! It was all perfect! How amazing is that?! I've seen a few Queen City retreat recaps, but yours is by far my favorite! The joy and excitement in this video is contagious! Loved every second!

I really must get working on some of my ladies to get them on the wall! My daughter's cat has only been left overnight by himself once. He usually comes to our house, or I stay with him...he doesn't like the loading into the carrier or the car ride to get here but gets to see deer and other wildlife when he visits.

So glad you will be able to use the It's a Girl Thing chart. :-) That was one of the giveaways I put on the table(s). I stitched Drama Queen for a granddaughter and didn't think I would do more. I enjoyed picking up several items myself. :-) You are so right--it was magical! I don't have any other retreat to compare it to, but it was a great experience and I hope to repeat it next year. I guess I'm watching these recap videos to reexperience all the good vibes again. :-)
