It should be obvious. You don't grab the steering wheel of someone's car. Anyone with a working brain should know not to touch the reins of someone's horse.

That overbearing security guard did not need to come up and reinforce something That was already enforced very well. The guy was thoroughly embarrassed. He didn't need somebody with a gun to come up and make him think that he did something horrible. Because he didn't do anything horrible he screwed up... big deal.

My horse riding instructor said "The person who has the reins controls the horse". Only touch the reins of your own horse.
