This era was so wild man. Shady x Aftermath x G-Unit, And 1 Streetball mixtapes, LeBron was a rookie, The Chappelle Show was still brand new, The Boondocks, John Cena…..so many legendary things were just taking off during this time period all at the same time. Gotta love it.

Me and my high school homies were the only 12/112 whites at the JayZ and 50 cent (gunit) concert in the summer of 03 in Toronto. That was 50s last concert in Canada for a long while (maybe to this day) all because some two beefing gangs shot at each other as everyone funnelling out the stadium into the parking lot, If anyone’s been through that type of thing, it’s about 10 000 people squishing thru a hallway about 2 meters wide . Very dangerous spot out the gate. Now these two crews firing guns at each other in that small space with nothing but innocent civilians to hit.

I was in the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility at this time I remember the hipe everybody going crazy dow town while down there when this was going on I was 16 years old just got my driver's license and everything and the judge lock me up because my probation officer lied on me and said that I pissed dirty from smoking weed I had to do close to a year and I never even did anything wrong but I learned my lesson from that time on you can't trust nobody even when you think that people are in your that interests and lie like they want to help you and really they want to just lock you up and make your life miserable but man I wouldn't take back what I went through for nothing this was a different era I'm glad that I came up at this time because it taught me today how these young generation are in their twenties today that are 10 years younger than me their minds are on a whole different level not saying they're not smart but I grew up around some real Og s
