We’re Eamon & Bec & we love van life so much that we’ve decided to ship our tiny house to another continent! To do this we’re working with a company called Sea Bridge. And if you can believe it, it will only take 6 days to sail from Canada to Europe. Last week we drove our van from Toronto to the coastal city of Halifax. Today we’ll bring you along as we prep the van for it’s sail and drop it off at the port. We then fly to Iceland where we will be living out of an even smaller, cozier van for the next 8 days! Buckle up, this is gonna be good!

HAHAH no kidding!! This was definitely a downsize even for us but it was the perfect tiny home to travel around Iceland in because we spent 95% of our time outside anyways :)

Okay...you're video editing is superb! Along time ago, when both of you were probably in diapers, I was addicted to Lonely Planet. I loved those shows. They inspired me, and they took me around the world. Your videos are now getting me inspired again. These videos are amazing. It's funny...a lot of you "digital nomads" start out just travelling/exploring but you find your niche. These are far better travel videos that can be found on standard TV. You are free to do your own thing!!! The first video I watched was the spray foam video, because NOBODY insulated like that. I have to honest, I sort of wanted to hate the young, beautiful, hipsters, but maybe because you are fellow Canadians, (quirky, and lovable and funny...) I am now addicted to your channel. Keep up the great work. I see that spark in both of your eyes.
I would love to see a tech video of how both of you progressed with your video editing/drone shot/tech techniques etc.

I grew up with peanut butter on grilled cheese. I never realized that was weird until I got into school. But now it's the only way to have grilled cheese!!!! So good!!

Still note -- there are many european countrys where you need to have permission to fly a drone ^^
Agree, pretty much impossible to get permission in France, very difficult in Austria, Switzerland, possible but still difficult in Germany, Holland, Belgium, etc. And with the new drone laws (from 2020)its gonna be even more difficult.

In Germany you can fly it everywhere in nature but in public places you would be careful

Was stationed in Germany for 3 years, and traveled all over Europe seeing many great locations from the view over my bicycle as I rode the country side. This adventure is going to be awesome to see.

Haha we had both of those things and when we would lift our face mask in the morning (even with the curtains pulled) it would be so painful to open our eyes hahah!!! The sun is bright and never ending!

DRONE SHOTS!!!!! I loved Iceland, even went up to Grimsey in the Arctic Circle. Beautiful puffins, only one restaurant/lodge/building on the island. The owner let me go on their fishing boat to help pull fish out of the net and none of crew spoke english, super fun and a lot of hand signals.

Yes we actually took a stab at daily vlogging back when we built Eamon's dad's van but felt like the quantity vs. quality argument was ever present with that... we prefer to produce ONE great video we are REALLY proud of than 7 that we've busted our butts to make but don't necessarily want to watch again lol!

If there is tomato soup our clam chowder, then no ketchup. However if non of those soups are available, then yes ketchup.

„It‘s the birds fault“ lol haha you just don’t fly around animals... the bird was probably defending its territory (especially in Iceland they’re kinda aggressive)
When I launched i didn’t see any birds!
I run into that with seagulls wanting to check it out by the ocean but never seen an attack
you make it sounds like this was avoidable and not some freak accident, its not like they flew it into a nest
Even though I live in Alaska, I would enjoy visiting Iceland. It sure looks like parts of Alaska. And I love our long summer days. This past year was our warmest summer on record...it was actually too hot for most Alaskans. Now that our warm weather has disappeared with the sun, and I have the last of my garden bounty harvested and put up, I am catching up on your videos.
