Fail, fail fast, learn & keep it moving a whole bar!!! This was very insightful & I couldn't write fast enough!! Not focusing on the outcome & doing what I am in control of such a good reminder!! Thank you for these gems Emily 🙌🏾🙌🏾♥️♥️

Hi Emily! Your videos have helped me with my job interviews, and now I'm working on a job that I've been interested in for a while. Thank you for that! But recently I keep messing up and the workload is never done I'm slowly losing confidence and I cry every night and before going to work because I'm overwhelmed with my job. Any advice to make things easier?

My friend! I have been there, too! First thing you need to do is calculate how long each task on average takes because you need to see if the amount of work you have is realistic (for example if its 10 hours of work every day... that doesn't work). From there, we either need to work smarter (can we automate, or speed up the processs) or do we ask for stuff to be taken off our plate. I would say with this data talk to your manager and ask if there is a way to work more efficiently and see if they offer solutions. If not, tell them you're considered about the ability to deliver and ask for their POV.

Hey Congrats on getting that job! I would like to offer my 2 cents of advice on this if it helps : ask other people in your job how do they get that job and how do they manage their workload? For eg, once I went and asked one of my colleague very vulnerably and was on the verge of crying, "Hey S, I've trying to figure this out for the past 2 days and I'm not able to crack it and it just keeps piling up and never gets completed. Can you tell me why and how to do it?" You know what he said, "Krittika, You have been doing before many times and you are not new in this, you know have done it before, you know the process, so don't be scared, sit with it for sometime and focus on it without worries and distraction." He also showed me how he does it and I figured out a process of automating and doing it faster within 15 mins, which I was struggling for 2 days and nights. So yeah, rule number 1 : Don't shy to ask for help.
