I agree. Like Shane said, I hope they make it. But something tells me Chris is giving so much more. This dude needs to recognize Chris as his partner. I get coming out is something difficult but if you're not ready to, then a relationship isn't going to be easy.
I never liked his bf when he came on the podcast he gave major red flags, was very rude to Chris. I think Chris is just too sweet. I think that’s why even Shane and the guys are always hinting or joking for Chris to break up with him or going on the finding. A new relationship segment
He won't until he works on his insecurities, self-esteem, and need for validation. Until then, he will continue to attract not so great people, unfortunately.
They could have an incredibly healthy relationship and it's just played up as "a bit" on the podcast or he could be genuinely not good. We'll never know. I do think that because Chris is such a nice person and avoids conflict and such that he attracts people who will take advantage of him. I say that as a person who when younger was always about"helping people" and investing more than others did in friendships and relationships, but then I eventually got really drained and realized it was because of my efforts not being reciprocated. The dating world sucks currently because I unfortunately continue to attract douchy people or people who are "losers" but the difference is that I don't even entertain a first date because I can recognize the red flags right away based on my experiences. I hope Chris finds his soulmate and I think him having besties like Lizze and Ryland (and even Shane) who call that crap out, helps.

@@Moonlightmatchmaking I don't think so. It doesn't necessarily have to be so serious, I think its more of a personality question bc they could respond ultra seriously or not. Spencer jokes a lot and you may find a girl would give a joking reply similar to how he was answering questions in his dating profile.

You could give a joke response.. but the real response could be something like having an a*****n or having a bitter disagreement with a family member before they died. As long as they know it’s a joke question, I think it would be okay. But for most people, the real answer is something dark and heavy.
