I have always loved Little Richard. I grew up in the 50s when he was played on the radio every day. My brother loved him and his music too. He would play his records on the Dansette record player. Sit in front of the kitchen table pretending it was a piano and pretended he was Little Richard. I would be jigging and jiving around the room. Ah those happy days. In 1958, I remember when the funfair came to town and Lucille would be blasting out on the Waltzer ride. Everyone was jiving to the sound of the King of Rock n roll. You rarely saw a overweight young person in those days either. We were all skinny from all the jiving we did. We had a ball and it really was a great era to be young in.😎

I saw him live at a local venue. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Not only is the music great but what folks don't realize is how funny & quick-witted he is totally "off-the-cuff" not scripted. And he stayed after to sign autographs or for pictures or just to meet fans and I've never seen anyone else do that there. He is a genuinely lovely man.
