I was there in Kandahar when this was made by the maintenance guys in my unit. Upon returning home,at the battalion Ball, they played this, andmy man did his dance on the table. :-)
I never get tired of watching this. These guys were extremely creative to have put this together complete with the appropriate wardrobe. Outstanding guys; this veteran loved it!
As a Retired SFC I must say that you guys are awesome for putting this video together. This is one excellent example of "Team Building". Best of luck to you all and I hope that you are home safe and soon. Army Strong!

Hadn't seen it in years, but was delighted to find it today & laughed just as hard. God bless all of you who served. Some of us know, no matter they were just told recently, that we most certainly do have troops engaged in active combat. The liars know no shame.
I can't stop watching this. It's wonderful on so many levels. But the best thing is that it reminds us that our troops are funny people who are far away from home. I really hope Lady Gaga decides to perform for the troops... or at very least, cast all of these dancing soldiers in her next video.

Every time i hear this video it reminds me that we're all humans and sometimes we need to set aside our differences and live life. I salute these soldiers for taking time to make this video as they get little RR in the war zone. So the next time you see a soldier be kind and say "thanks" because it could be their last appreciation they hear from someone that's protecting our freedom and liberty.
If I remember, their commanding officer said when they had time between making music vid, they do occasionaly worked on the units vehicles. Great effort, thanks for the smiles.
