thank you for this video! I suggest that you can build a 2D model of stairs and then extrude it to get a 3D model in seconds. this will be easier.

Thanks for this. I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong until I saw this. I couldn't cut away under the stairs which I had extruded until I selected all parts to make all steps one solid object. Regards. Andrew
