The City of Angels serves up a slice of heaven when Bravo Media’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for Season 9. Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Lisa Vanderpump are joined by new housewife Denise Richards and friend Camille Grammer for a jaw-dropping season sprinkled with exhilarating highs and shocking lows. The epitome of a working mom-perfectly blending her carefree California attitude with the glamour of a Hollywood actress-newcomer Denise uses her very direct demeanor to carve out a place amongst the opinionated group, which she finds is both a blessing and a curse.
This season, the stakes are higher than ever for each of the ladies, and while there is no shortage of laughs, they are forced to navigate a string of confrontations that could change the dynamic of the friend group forever. Following her brother’s recent passing, Lisa Vanderpump puts all her energy into her family, work demands and maintaining a positive attitude. She's a perpetual victim and manipulates every circumstance she can't control. Eileen kept pressing her about Dorit, she didn't have a good answer as to why she couldn't forgive Dorit, and clung onto a small thing Eileen said, made it a huge deal, and diverted the situation so she would stopped getting questioned about it.

Its rare to see LVP so vulnerable; what she was really trying to say was that she felt disappointed and let down by her "friend" because she didnt show up for her emotionally and supported like she needed. One time a friend of mine told me how hurt she felt because I didnt call her or check up on her enough after a surgery. That GUTTED me. I hated that my friend felt like I had let her down because thats the last thing I would ever want. Instead of getting mad at her, I profusely apologized to her, took a good look at what I did wrong and what I didnt do, and then I made it my mission to check up on her more so she would feel the support and love I have for her. Erika is insane and so unnecessarily rude and cold and selfish

How is she weak around her husband?
The Eileen scene is the moment Erika went from my favorite housewife of all time to one of my least favorites. Erika was like a Pitt bull viciously attacking a innocent woman who meant absolutely no harm & continued to attack her even while Eileen was trying to apologize. After that scene all the shock tactics, glitz & glamour faded away & I could see Erika for the mean & unstable person she is. She has continued to repeat this behavior with different people & it’s just a horrible thing to watch.
I'm AMAZED at how everyone says that Eileen made an "innocent comment and meant absolutely no harm". Since this show is somewhat "scripted" (as we all know) she made that comment about her son "not being killed" to get a reaction out of Erika... and Erika KNEW it. Erika knows that being so high profile as she is, could make her son even more vulnerable than the average police officer. I think Erika has some guilt about what she has done with her life so far. Maybe she even has some regrets. That would explain her "unusual" reaction.
Erika apologised to Eileen the next day. It was clear Eileen was genuinely shocked and quite distressed (in tears) about Erika's reaction, as they were close friends.
Erika wasn't able to 100% control herself at that moment due to overwhelming emotion and it looked like she was having a panic attack.
It was very intense to watch that. I don't blame either Erika or Eileen. They were fine the following day as Eileen understood how upset Erika had been.

@Hard Reset I suspect that production wanted Eileen to say that in order to get a reaction out of Erika... because especially since her son is a police officer, to casually throw out a comment like that would be hurtful. I don't think Eileen meant any harm, but it was insensitive... so she was right to apologize to Erika on the spot, like she did. (P.S. I blame production for the insensitive comment more than I blame Eileen. In my opinion, anyone would have to be crazy to put themselves on a show like that to be at the mercy of some of these writers).
It’s been an eye opening experience seeing her reactions to the other women. It seems so high school when everyone else acts dumb around the popular girl. She constantly flaunted her wealth and her over the top glam squad. I never saw her do anything charitable on her time on the show. For me I would like to see something that inspires me not remind me that some people don’t grow up.
I'd love Erika to try and be this threatening to someone like Teresa Giudice, she'd get put in her place pretty quick then 🤣

From Kyle’s “if I feel something, it just comes out” to Rinna’s “I don’t ever remember saying that” to Erika’s “I could have said that, it’s possible” when it’s all on camera! Yes, Teddi implied she was lying but that’s because she remembered what she said when Erika apparently didn’t! And clearly, whether she remembers it or not, Erika DID say that! So basically Teddi got yelled at by Erika because Erika wanted to save face.

I liked Erica in the beginning of the show, acted like she had her shit together, strong woman, and watched the others make fools of themselves and now she's the drama queen! Wth! Her true colors came out!

She basically used his job, and the fact that he may get hurt, as a way out of a disagreement with a friend. Pretty low, for a mother to do, especially since we all knew where Eileen was going with that convo and it had absolutely nothing to do with him being in law enforcement.
Her son is an adult, he chose his own profession knowing what it entails.

Agreed! But I'd let it slide if her note had actually been heartfelt but that note @9:21 was such a standard condolence card. I actually stopped watching after that season because that season was just so nasty and not even in a funny and entertaining way. (Am well aware LVP isn't as innocent as she claims to be but the way the treated her that season was vile.) And I couldn't stand Erika, Dorit or Teddy.

Erika will always have to live with the fact that she left her son to go and try to be a star. Instead she just married an old dude to live a certain lifestyle.
The problem with Erika is she has years of pent up resentment and regret. She married for money, not for love. She might have grown to love the man who has lavished her with material possessions but she sold out and probably lacks the awareness to connect the dots, so she's quick to lash out at anything and ANYONE that triggers the slightest emotion in that area.

Anyone with an OUNCE of emotional intelligence understood Eileen’s analogy. It was likened to “it’s not like they killed your cat” etc. which is a very common figure of speech. It had absolutely nothing to do with Erika’s actual child and definitely held zero implications around his profession. That was one of the more obvious examples of Erika’s manipulation and victim mentality. Similar to on New Jersey, when Teresa lost it on Jackie for her analogy about Gia. Trying to spin an analogy into a threat or even an actual insult, when it’s really just the person trying to communicate and get you to understand a perspective, is so grossly manipulative and narcissistic. This was the exact moment my opinion permanently shifted about Erika, and I was only proven more and more correct in following seasons. All the women on these shows have their issues but a handful of them are actually terrible, dangerous people. Erika is one of them.
