Maybe as a defensive assistant coach, or if we absolutely need someone to fill a hole on the chart due to injury. I love Pat P but all good things come to an end, and it's about that time unfortunately 😔
Man, I really do appreciate Pat P out there but I can't give him a pass after saying the 9ers had tails then got tripped up over them, and after seeing JPJ strappin OBJ in the end zone I don't know, I think if anyone comes back it needs to be Rowe
What PITs problem is, is that our coverage commit entirely too much to there zones, stick to your zone yes, but if you ain't covering no one find a guy and go get him.
Patrick "Rocking Chair" Peterson would be a good mentor for any young CB. However, anyone who watched the games last year knows Peterson is no longer a consistent asset on the field. Bringing PP back would be a liability on the field even though mentally, PP would be an asset. Just hope the Steelers pass on bringing him back as a player..

Look, Pat probably would take a minimum league contract.. Gilmore would probably be a low cost sign.. so why not just get both, they could rotate and keep fresh legs, and JPJ would be good as gold.. KHAN MAN ❤
Jpj just gotta keep his hands off people but I think he steps up his 2year he guards top W1 and he wanted that competition to get better. We haven’t had a lock corner since Steven Nelson
He’s right, but can’t you be a mentor as a coach? Pat P is done and is not dealing with the reality that as a player he is not that guy anymore. Give him a whistle and call it a day. Retire Pat P.
Almost none, every body has a mentor at some point in their lives that they watch and learn from and then they themselves become a mentor as they age. Pat P's mentors were Bryant McFadden and Ike Taylor
Pat Pete is washed. He wants another paycheck and wants that boost in ratings for his podcast. Because as the years move on McFadden will end up carrying that broadcast. Why? Pete is a nice guy, but he doesn't have the news delivery style to get it done. He jumps into street slang too much. You are throwing away viewers using street. Using street language on the show loses context for a lot of viewers. The NFL is becoming international in appeal. There are 50 gazillion Steeler channels that spans this globe from Mexico, Germany, Austria, Australia, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, UK, Belgium, and on and on. I know because I watched them. As far as JPJ goes. He's fine. He doesn't need a mentor. What he needs is a good young CB across from him.
JPJ grew up surrounded by professional football players, his dad was a professional football player. He doesn't need a babysitter, he's a pro now. I like Pat P and hope he returns in a back-up role, but stop trying to grasp on to the coattails of JPJ. Become a coach if that's your role.

I wanted Pat pate back but only if he took a paycut. Having a future hall of fame mentor benefits every db in that room
Not to mention Pat Pete has great utility and versatility on the field.
Joey grew up with fame and fortune. He was created for this sole purpose since birth. Pat P, you good man. Commentate.
Its not necessarily about holding his own, but moreso accelerating growth and development
i want Pat Pete!!
Pat P will be back and has already been told that IMO u have Trice and Rush plus draftees to mentor I am sure of this
Maybe as a defensive assistant coach, or if we absolutely need someone to fill a hole on the chart due to injury. I love Pat P but all good things come to an end, and it's about that time unfortunately 😔
I’m down for it I would tell him if we need u we will use sparingly but your main job is to mentor jpj, trice and rush and whatever corner we bring in
We should have Ike Taylor come in and help mentor JPJ.

Eric Rowe should be brought back regardless he played really well and atleast tackles pat p is burnt
The mentorship part don't stop with jpj he would bring every dB in the room up ., prob help trice more than anyone else.

Coach did a tremendous job managing Najee Harris last year . He should do that the exact same way.
JPJ doesn’t need you Pat he’s already showed he’s a good young pro.. been already the game and is built for this

JPJ will be fine either way, dude is a top CB already
its not necessary but it definitely helps. and in the spirit of we trying to win super bowls. lets go w/ whatever helps.
Look, Pat probably would take a minimum league contract..
Gilmore would probably be a low cost sign.. so why not just get both, they could rotate and keep fresh legs, and JPJ would be good as gold.. KHAN MAN ❤
Get Stephon Gilmore….. can actually contribute and also mentor JPJ
$$$$ is the problem there
If Pat P care so much for JPJ future why don’t he come back as a cb coach instead of taking up a roster spot???
Because $$$$$
I think Pat. P Should be a coach
Jpj just gotta keep his hands off people but I think he steps up his 2year he guards top W1 and he wanted that competition to get better. We haven’t had a lock corner since Steven Nelson
Joe Haden
@@yfnnapolean they left around the same time maybe a year before or after . Which sucked bad

i want pete
Donte jack got the other side on clamps we straight. Need a good nickel maybe draft or bring in a vet
Don't forget they still have Sullivan, who's a pretty good nickel, and Kazee and Killibrew can rotate to nickel now that they added Deshon Elliott
I think Joey porter will be good with out Patrick! Joey already don’t like to get beat!
He got burned hella last szn we dnt need him , having someone with experience is cool but not everyone grows off that
Have we forgot who his dad is?
Pat p just wants another check
How many players were good without mentors Pat P thanks but no thanks

Love Pat P but he was the worst corner we've had since Artie Burns. Sure you can come back but for the right price

I like and liked Pat P but how can you say someone needs a mentor when they looked like a vet and you played like a rookie
Production ≠ experience. Pat was a multi time all pro corner who is just past his prime, he absolutely could help JPJ.
Now is Gilmore gonna accept vet minimum? Cause p2 said he would
