- 詳しい詳細は不明ですが、おそらく1960年代のA-7です。
どうしても500Hzでない古いA7が欲しくて何年も探してました。
なんと！地元に20年ぶりに里帰りしてこの町で見つけました。
500HzのA7は何度も聴きましたが、やはりA7は元祖の800Hz！
3ウェイ化してますツィーターはJBL075、エレクトロボイスT-35など試してきましたがなぜかこのパイオニアPT-100が一番しっくりきました。
アンプはラックスマンLX-360KT88仕様に改造してあります。
KT88の真空管が数十数万...
オーディオって本当にお金がいくらあっても足りません(笑）

My brother and i use to play in a rock band and we also had a fairly successful sound company. I still have 6 A7 500 cabs loaded with 4218h drivers, 511b horns and 808-8a drivers, passive crossed at 800 hz with n-801-8a cross overs or nutrix wired for bi amping and electronic cross overs. Cabs are crossed braced and horns are encased in boxes. Subs are tuba 32s x 2. or 2 acoustic control 371 cabs that are w folded 18" bass cabs.I Love these a-7 VOTT cabs. Depending on the situation they are driven with a mix of amps from crowns, Nakamichie Pa-7 to a Macintosh 3500 for the subs. 2 of these A7 cabs can spank the hell out of most other gear with minimal power read 50 watts in a live sound situation. Yes they are big and they are heavy but there is nothing like the punch and sound field they project. You can't cheat physics. I use 2 of them at home for my main listening speakers with a Velodine SLB sub. and 10 tube watts into the A-7s will drive you sweetly out of the room.
RonINtheBASSMENT holy shit. Had 4 or 6 A-7s with the original drivers, 511 horns and 808a drivers. Dual 901 altec short throw tweeters per side additional 808s on standby and double," w", rca floor bass bin cabs with altec 421 drivers in them, per side, one or 2 were smoked. Plus 6 or 8 EV eliminator replica "w" bass cabs converted to 15" altec 421s' for "just in case". Altec 9440's powering them. I Ieft only 2 altec 9440s, still have the other 4. There was still a 600 watt QSC, 100 WATT QSC, and 50 watt ASR. Along with some beat up mixers, mono Eq's and 3, 5 channel RANE x-overs, 6 Technic 1200s, 2 duals. Not to mention the 2 experimental dual Jbl short throw woofers with the red silicone, the 4 Jbl cookie speakers 15" mid high mid short throws and rt100 dirt bike. It was the best. Then I went to prison, got out to a hospital, woke up homeless and lost it all in a storage unit in forty fort Pennsylvania.
I have an A7 with an 803A 15'' driver, 802C horn, N800D crossover. Sounds quite amazing! Just wish I had two. Fortunately most of my record collection is mono anyway. Long live the 78rpm record. They are doing some pretty cool things these days with 78rpm restoration.
いいですね 又ジャズが聞きたくなりました。アンプは真空管ですよね。ただ現在の私のラインナップですとやっぱりクラシックが主流です。でもいいですよね
I played in a rock band from 68 to 73. We had 4 of the a 7 ,s as our p.a. AND we stored and practiced at my house in the country. Needless to say i had a killer stereo. I liked them better than klipsch corner horns but those are killer to.

Those types of speakers have been around much longer than I can remember goin all the back to 1970s
we have a tri-amped pa system with Yamaha VOTT copies (mids), these type of horns sound incredible when used with flatter, extended range drivers. Seems using speakers incapable of upper mid definition ends up calling attention to the 500-1500 hz resonances which can get annoying quickly however with a 15" thats fairly flat and extends out to 4 khz you end up with a super clean violin/cello kind of warmth -just add an accurate compression driver & folded horns for audio nirvana

クロスオーバー周波数のことはよく分りませんが、なんとなくわかりますよ。当時（１９７７年）のＡ５をきいていますから、この後ＪＢＬ４３５０Ａを（マルチチャネル）を聴かされて、やはりＪＢＬかと思いました。Ａ５もいいんですがその当時２ＷＡＹだったのでＭＩＤのＪＢＬ２４４０とＨＩＧＨのＪＢＬ２４０５に負けていたのかもしれません。５１５Ｂと２８８－１６Ｇの組み合わせはすばらしいですが、ヴォーカルはとてもいいんですが、ＪＢＬ４３５０のワイドレンジには負けます。（すべてアルニコ仕様）なのでＪＢＬ Ｄ１３０＋０７５（アルニコ仕様）を特注箱（Ｃ４０か？）
にいれてＮ２４００のネットワークで結線したものをこうにゅうしました。３７５ドライバーで中域を足すつもりでしたが、いまだ実現しておりません。現在、３７５ドライバー（アルニコ）はよいものが少なく２４５０（アルニコ）かと思いますが、某灰φ如何でもあまりよい品は見かけられぬ故購入には躊躇しております。当時リボンツイータのＰＴ１００はすごいワイドレンジでこんな高い周波数（１００ＫＨｚ）まで再生しなくてもいいんじゃないかとおもっていましたが（再生系のレンジにも依存しますが）ｎ次高調波（ハーモニックス）からいえば０７５・２４０５など程遠い再生能力をもつＰＴ１００は聴いてびっくりしたもんです。また、色がない分どのＳＰ（でも米国製ＳＰ（Western-Electric系）によくあうので好んでＡＬＴＥＣユーザーが使用していましたね。

ボーカルが伸びやかで艶っぽい良い音ですね。低音も出しゃばらず気持ち良いのですが部屋自体が箱鳴りしている様に聞こえてしまってます。携帯で録音したせいでしょうか？
