I love this stuff - it helps me know what the outcome is without having to do all this. I work at Sally’s and love to know how the products work before selling them.
One thing I would love for you to add to this is test is to mist the hair with water to show how much it may or may not bleed. That would be very useful. So far I’m getting very sold on these strawberry leopard colors.
Color Oops doesn’t work on hair that’s been stained with products like this. Color Oops works by breaking down hair color molecules found in permanent color dyes. Joico Color Intensity Eraser works by removing temporary dyes that only stain hair that’s intended to fade by wash. This product will remove most of that unwanted color within 10 minutes. (Works on Manic Panic, Arctic Fox, Strawberry Leopard etc)
Thank you for showing all these purples, im new to the Strawberry Leopard and i have more of a salt and pepper colour now. But have been dying my hair purple not using any bleach. Im also originally a natural dark brown hair. I started trying this and well pink didn't go in my hair at all. And the first time using the grapeful looked very dark but ya it went into a lovely light purple. Im going to try it today for the 2nd time and see if it looks better. I used to use arctic fox but when i went to get it i saw this brand and i wanted to try it out. Thank you for showing this product, i saw one other video of you using these and your hair looks so amazimg. Thank you. 🙂💜
Love this idea! Love the brand!! Do more like this please! I have been dying my hair with the blue steel color and love it so much. Price, color, smell all great and it leaves your hair unharmed 💙
I'm so glad I found your channel. Information like this is helpful. I change my hair so often, and a dye that won't budge is a pain. Other people I know keep one color for years
So I'm watching this video because I mixed manic panic purple haze + strawberry leopard grapeful and my hair color hasn't budged in a month 🙌🏻 I've never had a long lasting purple, I'm so excited! Thank you for this informative vid :)
This is some of my favorite hair dye to use, though it’s semi permanent, it lasts a good while and great for the price! Not to mention it leaves my hair smelling and feeling so good! Definitely worth the purchase, I don’t use any other hair dye!
Love your reviews. I purchased Grapeful and am very happy to learn it doesn’t fade. My plan is to cut the color out which I decide to change my hair color.
Great content, thank you. It helps alot. Im natural, about 50% grey (salt&pepper) in my early 40s. I truly have embraced my greys however i get bored lol. Its not a good idea for me to go back to permanent hair dyes so fun colors it is for me now. Thanks again. Oh! Ive done Purple AF from Artic Fox it looks realy nice on me. My dark hair turns into a beep plum but the greys (white) turns into a vibrant purple, like purple highlights 💜 . Its nice fade too. But im going to try this brand because if it fades to blue! I think itll be cool. 🍒
I love this! Your videos (both against the same brand and against other brands) have been super helpful to me. You've helped me pick colors more than anyone else. Keep it up, you're awesome! Edit: I just put in some lilac glow in my hair literally a few minutes before watching this, and I completely agree that it doesn't work in very easily, it definitely feels like you're just pushing the dye around. Hopefully since I'm putting it on a silver, it won't be as patchy. Will definitely be leaving it on to sit
Love love LOOOOVE these types of videos! I actually work @ Sallys & I know a good amount. But we don't have swatches for every color & shade. I absolutely love that someone is doing this because yes, some brands have multiple shades that seem very similar! Or a bunch of brands have shades that seem similar but they can turn out drastically different. So a huge thanks to you! And please do more of these videos, they really are great!
Thankyou I really enjoyed the video it helped me a lot getting ready to use strawberry leopard for the first time, I love how u got right down to business no talking about nonsense!! Thankyou will be following!!
I like both styles of color comparison videos - all the shades of one brand *and* similar shades of different brands. Its nice to see the results IRL and not the store display swatches. What I'd ask is, can you also do light brown or medium brown hair extensions. I love adding color to my brown hair but refuse to bleach it.
I highly appreciate these videos. I wasn’t sure what shade of purple the orchard was so I could adjust it. Then I knew you had the videos for reference!!
prismatic purple should be called prismatic blue. super pretty color but it's misleading and loses its intensity really fast. I was recoloring my hair less than every two weeks.
I never heard of this brand. I love swatch videos even though most of my hair is dark brown. I have a lot of gray in the front to dabble with I would mix a touch of the grape with the orchard.
Thank you so much for this I think I know what color I’m gonna do next cause I’ve been using a grapefruit for two years and I love it I really love it but I want to kinda like make it look a little bit lighter cause I’ve natural gray hair so I kinda wanna go back to that silver look again so I’m gonna do that lilac color thank you again blessings💜
I told the lady at my local sallys I wanted plum. I told her like a purple black and even showed her the color, but I wanted a shampoo dye that's not as bad for your hair. I know nothing about hair dye, but I should pay more attention because she got me this in grapeful. I wanted plum I showed her the hair sample where it's black with a purple shine. I wanted to my whole head too and already lost my recipt. I can do plum but I'm not the type person that could pull whole head of this extreme of purple lol but yet I'm kinda curiouse lol sucks though I planned on dying my hair before a special event. Idk if I could maybe take it back for exchange without a recipt?
I picked grapeful because of its color and long lasting but i find now i dont want a purple around for that long! And i think if i were to dilute it, it wont be a lilac :(
hi!! i dyed my hair with grapeful, i saw you did as well in a previous video. how long did it take to come out? i only wash my hair once a week but i dyed it back in october and now its a pastel blue
It's still in my hair pastel blue, under the current purple I have now lol. I tried bleach bath and even that didn't take it out. Not sure if it will ever 100% go away, might have to chop it off at some point lol. I also put it in the beginning of October.
@@NemoNebulous ahhh dang it! haha. i guess ill wait it out and if I have to go back to my natural color for a bit to cover it I will. thanks for getting back to me :) the one annoying thing about vibrant fashion colors :(((
Depends on the goal really, if you want it to last, I like Herb Essences Color Me Happy for a cheaper option and Olaplex No. 4 for the bond builders, especially if hair is damaged. To refresh color, I love Viral Celeb Colorditioner(they also have a shampoo version but never used it so can't say how good it is). If trying to fade it out, any dandruff shampoo or clarifying shampoo should work fine but I use Head and Shoulders most of the time. However, as shown in video, Grapeful STICKS, no shampoo will be enough to strip.
These purples do not look good on yellow-y. It’s gotta be white blonde for it to look good and for it to stick. Two bottle for a decent saturation. I used lilac glow and now half of my head is sliver looking (the more yellow-y blonde) and the other portion is lilac/blue violet (where I had it white blonde). I had to dye it with the first bottle, rinse, and repeat with the second bottle but really push it into the hair.
@@stephh5637 second application. I thought my hair was short enough for just one bottle which is was it just didn’t stick that well. Take section by section of and and when you apply it just really rub it into the hair until saturated.

Which Sally's beauty supply store do you work at because I love shopping there
love this!! hair dye shopping can be so stressful bc sometimes sample pictures look really similar. excited for you to do more!

I love this dye vs dye series. Nemo you are a genius! I love that you show color results and then show the fade out process. Brilliant idea 💡🐱💡

i used grapeful on my dark dirty blonde hair i didnt bleach it its super dark but beautiful
Not me with grapeful in my hair. 😂
me too
Have you tried swatches on darker hair?
Very interested! Can’t wait to see more!
The 2nd one would be cool for toning

Can you do a comparison on Brown hair?

Great idea for this video!
Is my new favorite. Cosmic purple is more of a blue than purple.
I bought lilac glow and grapeful I’m hoping for a dark lilac hopefully we will see lol
How did it turn out? Thinking of doing the same
Id like to see you mix grapeful and orchid you not 50/50 to test it
I picked grapeful because of its color and long lasting but i find now i dont want a purple around for that long! And i think if i were to dilute it, it wont be a lilac :(
I’m still in this struggle lol, i may dilute it this time around orrrr but the one to the left of it
Still in my struggle, I think I’m gonna try lilac glow. I wish i could compare to the iroiro lavendar
Try the greens from strawberry Leppard brand
Hey Nemo!🤓

Hey were u ever able to get the grapeful dye out? I love the color but I’m afraid that it won’t wash out completely and I can’t bleach my hair
Thanks for this babes
love it!
