I haven't read PLANET NARNIA yet, but I've just reread THE SILVER CHAIR (for at least the 5th time) but with the Dr. Ward's insight that Lewis is using Luna as a background for the book. It certainly fits. I recently read SURPRISED BY JOY and noticed that the flat lands/marsh lands in THE SILVER CHAIR were similar to the flat land Lewis described seeing as a boy on his way to that hellish boarding school. Also, during his time in this awful place he said the worst nights were during a full moon because there were no covers on the windows, and it was hard to sleep. I suspect his experience at that school gave him insight the effects of horrible experiences on a child's mind, even into adulthood and helped him create the underworld images.
In all seriousness, I really enjoyed the insights. It’s inspired me to go back and read the books to search for the imagery (and to read them in the correct order)

Which of the planets would be sagacious, wise, scholarly ?
Mercury? Or Jupiter, perhaps?
Probably Sol
Some of that, if it relates to language, would fall under Mercury tho.
First!
Could’ve said something profound, but I thought this would be funnier ;)
